We were staying in the area and called John short notice. Came with the wife and boys. Make sure to call first as there is a private gated entrance. John came out with his dogs welcoming and friendly. He even served us some of his own cured meat which was delicious. Our boys ran around exploring the property and we enjoyed wine under his large covered patio. I really enjoyed the Beelzebob dessert wine and the Cristiano jammy wine. After we were done tasting we toured the property and got to feed the horses and goats. Definitely worth a stop if you are coming to the area.

We were driving north of Modesto and saw that this wasn't too far and it was open. Call first for an appointment. You can probably get in within a half hour if its not too busy. The barn and setting is gorgeous and the wine maker is engaging. We learned a lot. The wine flight included a white, 3 reds and a desert wine. I love red and the Petite-Syrah/Syrah blend was my favorite. If you're lucky, Sarge the Lab will greet you.

The owner was very generous. I called and asked if we could stop by to pick grapes, and even though they don’t offer this service, he allowed us and refused to be paid. The place was so beautiful, calm, and very friendly. I saw they have a wine tasting, and they also have a beautiful event venue.Thank you for hosting us and for your kindness.

I can only repeat what the others are saying. We had a great experience. The wine was very good and John was a terrific host. A true find!

Delicious wine (especially Petit Sarah!), lovely hosts, beautiful views. One of the best wine tasting ever! Our team showed up without appointment, although booking appointment ahead is recommended.

Such an amazing experience! I can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks! The service was excellent the views loved the barn cats ‍! We took a picnic out there and the owners let us stay as long as we wanted! The wine was excellent as well!

What a spectacular Winery! The grounds are beautiful, calm and relaxing. The owner’s journey to today is a great story, and wow the Angelica knocked my flip flops off. Don’t miss this jewel, it’s a gem of a place to spend a sunny warm day tasting delicious wines!

What a beautiful, local, family owned winery in the outskirts of Oakdale. Mr John was absolutely amazing with all of his knowledge on wine and telling stories of the properties history. The barn is such a beautiful backdrop for a wedding or special event. The pavilion where we enjoyed 4 tastings with cheese and homemade capolo and pudding, looked out to the vineyards. We enjoyed a red blend, Chardonnay, Mission Angelica and BeezelBob(My favorite was the Angelica). We scheduled our tasting with wife Kristi via email and was super relaxing. I had my 4 kids with us and they got to explore the farm feeding their horses and sheep. I definitely plan to be back again around a sunset hour to capture the beauty this winery offers.

We had our daughters high school graduation/farewell (off to the Navy & college) celebration at this beautiful venue. Farmer John and Kristen where amazing to work with and they made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this venue and great service.

I wish I had taken some pictures of this charming winery! We went while we were camping at a nearby reservoir & had a lovely time. Kristi came out, greeted us & gave us a little history about the farm while Farmer John was finishing up with the people ahead of us. We strolled around for a few minutes & then had a great time tasting with John. They had a few nibbles for us to try with the wines & it was super relaxing and fun. They're very easy to chat with & seem so happy to be able to share with people. Not only did they allow us to bring our dogs, they welcomed them (& had their dogs inside). We made a few purchases & then went back to the campsite & had a bottle with our dinner. I sent John a text asking if we could buy a case & we went back the next day (when they weren't even open for tasting) & took home a bigger purchase of their very good wines. They're very reasonably priced & it was a nice, enjoyable experience. We'll be back!

We were driving back from Yosemite to SF and wanted to stop at a vineyard along the way. This one popped up and unfortunately when we drove there it was closed. My sister called to ask about hrs and the owner just came out and organized a tasting and farm tour us and our friends. They were so friendly and welcoming. They do everything themselves and are involved in each process of the production of their own wine- from picking the grapes to bottling. They truly went above and beyond. They were so passionate about not only making wine but sharing it with other people. 10/10
