Honestly this is the best Chinese food I've had since I left the Bay Area!! This place is definitely a pearl! It didn't look like anything special from the outside and it needs a paint job but don't let the outside discourage you because this place is very special. Everything was fresh as could be and seemed very authentic, I'm not Chinese so I can't say one way or another but as far as I am concerned it beats all other Chinese food spots I've tried in the Central Valley, the atmosphere and aesthetic's inside are very pleasing! We got the combo "A" plates and both plates were huge and we couldn't finish our meals! For both plates and two drinks with tip was 38 bucks that's unheard of this day and age! They left us a whole pitcher of ice tea which was very fresh, all the veggies were crisp/fresh nothing was over sauced/seasoned. The service was awesome too! Don't second guess yourself and there's a reason why this place is the highest ranked Chinese spot in Oakdale, shoot I'd drive from Modesto to eat here it's that good!!

I had been wanting to check this place out for a while. The stars finally aligned and I went in for a bite. I guess you could say we were greeted right away. Once in the door a waiter started yelling "Hi, how many" to us from across the dining room. He then offered us a table crammed in right next to the only other two tables in use despite the entire rest of the restaurant being empty. Not wanting to bang chairs into the people behind us, we asked if we could sit somewhere else. He told us sure sit anywhere only to later laugh at us and tell us no not there when we chose a table. We ended up seated at a third table. The cleanliness at this table was not good. The table was covered with a table cloth that had oil or something on it. Looking around in an attempt to find something better I realized they all had gross stuff on them. That's the point where we just stood up and walked out. The building was old and falling apart. The parking lot was in shambles. The restaurant was filthy and smelled of rotten fish. That's enough for me. I don't need to fill in the blanks on what the food would have been like.

Last dish came out at 8pm.4) walked out at 8.30 pmOrder2 soups - hot and sour and beef soup1 portion of pot stickers1 combination meal and one noodles.Their main focus is take aways. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait 2 hrs to be servedThe foods nothing much to write about either.

This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Want good Chinese food go to China house in oakdale. Service was terrible and the restaurant was dirty. Run away from this place. I would recommend eating dirt before pearl palace. No flavor every thing tasted like it was fried in the same oil.
Delicious, but needs an update and clean up.Food makes it worth it though.

Just had my first take out from the Pearl Palace. Excellent food! Quick service and I found the ambiance nice! We'll be back--this has to be the best Chinese food in town.
