Ambience is great, but for the price point I had expected better quality food and service. The pork and chicken dishes were forgettable (and on the dryer side). I think they cycle the menu often so perhaps others have a had a different experience.Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Very good food and service albeit very expensive. Not unexpected ($$$) but, still on the high side so be prepared or check the menus before you go...

Acre is a family favorite, with David Jacobson's fabulous pizza and boy, did we enjoy our dinner with friends...the town trio was great...roast chicken beautifully cooked, good crispy fries...and the salads lovely (the pizza it goes without saying, great, even for our native New York Italian who never had a store-bought pizza until her 20's! )

We got the pink lady apple salad, the garlic mangrove shrimp, and the wood fire grilled chicken. I would order the salad and the chicken again.Great service!

Very much appreciated the caliber of the service and food. I took my mom for her birthday and the staff was so friendly and gave her a birthday card and included a candle on her dessert. All very nice touches--clearly professionals :-)

We ordered pizza from Acre for the first time. The Vaca Verde burrata/shallot/garlic pizza was delicious. The dough was perfect--thin and elastic. Topping were garlicky but well balanced. My daughter got the gluten free option of the same Vaca Verde and loved it!

Quality and flavor have decreased in the past year or so. Food is basic with less of the flavor and subtlety I've come to expect from this great restaurant. Disappointing--might give it one more try after some time passes, maybe not.

Just tried to give this place a chance. Sat at a table for 25 mins without anyone taking our order- we were 1 of 2 tables outside??? Unsure as to why we weren’t served at all, but it’s safe to say we won’t be returning.

I had high hopes, but unfortunately, dinner was disappointing. I took my 3 year old out for a solo dinner date. His fries and pizza were decent. But my chicken was clearly pre-made and not fired long enough. The center was cold when it got to me. It was also sitting on top of a pile of dull and greasy vegetables, which was disappointing for a $40 dish.

Very disappointing meal with friends. Service was good but didn't compensate for poorly prepared food. Hamburgers arrived well done in spite of being ordered as rare and medium rare. Pizza was soggy and had miniscule pieces of sausage embedded in great mounds of cheese. Plates for pizza were ice cold, as though meant for salad. Carrot soup was O.K. but bland. The wine recommendation (pinot noir from a local vintage was very good. The olives, bread and cheesecake dessert were all very good. Lighting was so dim that cell phone flashlights were required to see menu. Outrageous prices for overall experience. We won't return.
