Here’s the deal. I’m an Asian American from New York City and I need reliable take out. This is the place in uptown. Good wok hay on the pork fried rice. Love the Hong Kong style crispy noodles with beef. Walnut shrimp, yes. I even got the salt and pepper Dungeness crab and the flavors are on point. Go here for a taste of home. It ain’t fancy. It’s just right.

The female server was really rude slam the pen and receipt done. Went out until my order was ready since it was a take out and came in to pickup she telling me to set down I ask for condiments and let her know how much I needed and she completely ignored my request. Overall unappreciative

Went there with a group of wine connaisseurs, the place is a hole in the wall. Order the whole fish, comes steamed, or fried. Amazing dish. Food is first rate throughout and very reasonable. We brought about 10 bottles of wine, our glasses, ---- no corkage!

I was hungry and stumbled around this place on Yelp and ordered the fish maw soup and their spareribs. The soup was bland while the spareribs is overly salty and not crispy. I had a lot of expectations considering the raving reviews but am disappointed by the taste and lack of flavor.

We used to come here a lot and decided to come back again for dinner to celebrate my Dad's birthday. With the recent crimes on Asian , we were skeptical but quite a few restaurants were open next door. The 4 stars are strictly for the good food, not so much for the service. As we sat down, the waitress was setting up the plates, dishes, and utensils. She was banging bowls and spoons so loud, I almost lost my hearing. I thought she might be upset we were there on time. My husband also ordered a beer... a warm beer. It came from the fridge but it definitely was not cold. Maybe three quarter through our meal, we got our check and dessert. I guess she really wanted us to finish and go despite being an empty restaurant.

Disappointment just hit me.I just walked away from a $18.00 clay pot that look like it was cooked in their first clay dish ever. I wanted chicken and shrimp and I guess they didn't have those two together. So I let the waitress talk me into clay pot with eggplant and other veggies, no problem. Until it came out, I had to ask her did I order some chicken? I guess most of chicken melted in the old clay pot, it wasn't even sliced or chopped up more like little chicken crumble. The presentation and the taste was terrible. I got fed up, paid my bill and walked out with no, I'm sorry you felt the dish wasnt cool. Time to go find a decent lunch.

We were eager to get out and eat after being stuck as home during most of the pandemic. This used to be one of our favorites but I think it's gone downhill a little. There used to be a waiting line but the place was pretty empty for a Saturday night . Ordered the lobster lo mein, mixed vegetable and fish head casserole. For some reason they breaded and coated the lobster pieces and fish head. That add significant oil and calories that we weren't expecting nor enjoyed. Somewhat disappointed.

Uhhhhhhh have had way better. Greasy egg rolls and overly doughy potstickers.

My mother and I used to meet here for dinner when both of us worked nearby. We still eat here occasionally because the food is so good. I haven't had a single bad dish here. Most recently we had the seaweed pork soup, the orange chicken, the lobster mein, potstickers, and vegetables in garlic sauce. All exceptionally delicious.

Okay, now this unassuming Chinese restaurant is low-key amazing. I have passed by this sleepy place for years without trying it. My dad was craving Cantonese style food, so we decided to try this place out and I'm so glad we did. We ordered the lobster noodles, beef chow fun, black bean clams, salt and pepper pork chops, and gai lan in garlic sauce. The beef chow fun was fantastic, super flavorful and exactly how I like it. My mom was craving this all week after having it. Salt and pepper pork is my husband's favorite dish and he loved this version. It was classic bone-in pork pieces lightly coated and fried with spicy peppers. The black bean clams were excellent as well. Well seasoned, fresh clams. The lobster noodles were just okay. The sauce was a little goopy and not as flavorful as it could have been. I wouldn't order this again. The gai lan in garlic sauce was also very well made. Really good value and excellent food. I will definitely be back.

I haven't been here in 5 years and my friend wanted to come here for lunch and on a Monday, no problem no waiting and the server was sanitizing tables and chairs when we arrived. Masks are required and there was no waiting so we found a table near the window. We shared the fried salt and pepper crab special and a plate of garlic sauce mixed vegetables. Both were delicious and the crab was tasty and fresh! We were also lucky as we had parking karma and got metered parking around the corner on 19th Street. Place is clean and service is efficient. Will be back to try more dishes!

They took 1 hour to cook 1 dish for a take out order and when I came back after 1 hour, they told me it’s sold out and can I take a replacement of “whatever is available”. Idk if they’ve always been this bad but it’s like run by people who’s never run a restaurant.

Tried to give this place a chance, went in with my girlfriend after work and felt like I was being rushed. I felt the staring as well and I did not feel comfortable definitely did not feel a sense of VALUE as a CUSTOMER.

Still love this place. I was so happy to find that they are back to dining in. Food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. It almost seems like we are family with we come in. We will see you soon. Keep up the strong work.
