Beers were fine; food was not. Fried brussel sprouts were mushy and tossed in a bland mayo sauce. Cheese curds were so over fried that they were empty shells of batter. Branch in DT Pleasanton had better food.

We were greeted by a friendly staff member who encouraged us to choose our own table. Our server had a warm smile and was knowledgeable, getting us little samples of beer so we could try a couple of options. The French Dip sandwich was a big hit and everyone thought the fish tacos were perfect. Don't miss the sweet potato fries! The ambience was comfortable and casual. We will be back.

I really didn't want to write this review because I love this place and have been going here for years but man have the standards of this place steadily gone down. One our most recent visit, they kept forgetting to provide us with basic things like cutlery. Forgot to bring us our food and didn't end up charging us for but what a poor experience and waste of resources, time and energy for all involved. They are blessed to be located where they are and should up their game before it's too late.

A nice location and I think the wait staff tries but what a disappointment. The burger, which I ordered 'medium', was way over cooked and dry. They brought with it a little serving of ketchup that was about as much as a single fast food packet. I needed 3 times that just for the overdone burger. I wanted to send it back but it wasn't worth the hassle. The fries were rather average. The weather was nice so they were a bit busy but we had to flag down our server multiple times, or someone else when the server was occupied for extended periods of time, and ask multiple times for the same request.

This is a review of desserts. Living in the neighborhood, I've enjoyed Beer Baron food on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon on the patio for some time, enjoying the delicious guacamole, cheese curds, fries, Etc. But one late night craving something sweet to be delivered, I stumbled upon their Berry Gallete. And then the bourbon pecan pie. These are incredible desserts. I love pie and the galette has a perfect crust, perfect not-too-sweet berries. The pecan pie is other worldly. Perfect late night indulgences.

Fun dinner spot! Menu is slightly overwhelming, so definitely look through it before your visit. Service was great and accommodating! Food was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. I'd definitely come back for dinner & drinks with friends or family.

Pretty good although the prices seem a bit high for what you get. My picture is from in October when they had a bratwurst and salad as an Octoberfest special. We would come here again when in the mood mostly for beer.

Since my last review I've been back several times and been totally happy. I love their flautas, chilaquiles, burgers and fries, breakfast burritos and chicken and waffles. The service is always great and the vibe is cool. They make some pretty tasty cocktails.

Here on a Wednesday afternoon, not busy but service was terribly slow and servers were not very attentive. I watched our drinks sit at the bar counter for at least 8 minutes before it was brought to us on both occasions.. Disappointed b/c I love Beer Baron in Pleasanton. & I'm writing my review as I wait for the server to come collect my bill.

Terrible service tonight. I have been going here years for happy hour cocktails and apps. Waitress sat us down and never took our order. Then, we had to ask for food and drinks because they never came out. Ordered a second drink and it never came out. Baja tacos were not as good as they used to be. Way too greasy and small piece of fish. Won't be back for several months.

Pleasantly surprised by the French Dip sandwich. Never had one where the base sandwich wasn't disappointingly dry. The dip here was also tomato based. Fries were on point. Ketchup even was tastier than expected. Maybe I just had low hopes. Covered outdoor seating was perfect on the sunny break we had from the rain today.
