I have lived in Oakland for 20 years and honestly, I have seen the reviews years back and always had it in the back of my mind to check them out since they were close. However, I never got the chance because I would always forget. However, last week, my daughter wanted churros, so I made the decision to finally try it out. OMG!!! Probably not the best idea because now we are addicted!! They were fresh and hot. My oldest decided to try the caramel filled one while my youngest and I got the plain. Well, they were crispy on the outside and soft and doughy in the middle. It was sooooooo good, we went back the next day and got more. Yikes!! I would have taken a picture but they never seem to last long enough for us to take a picture. Our first experience with churros was at Disneyland years ago and we fell in love but throughout the years, the quality at Disney started to decline and the price increased, and I wasn't a fan anymore. So, in my eyes, these churros here is IT!!!! Price isn't bad. $1.50 for each plain and $2 for ones with filling. However, I will note that the churros aren't like the super long ones but I think they are still fair with the prices and honestly, two of those were more than enough for us. The whole fam is completely hooked!! Check them out when you're in da town.

I love Churros! My favorite sweet tooth, especially with the hot vanilla inside. Yummmm! They're on the corner so not hard to miss them. Street parking or in the lot that's shared with a WSS & Cardenas. I love supporting small businesses especially mom & pop shops! This is exactly what this churro cart is! A couple, selling delicious, fresh, hot churros! It's $2/ churro CASH ONLY with many flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and even caramel! They're always so welcoming and I'd never choose up on this cart. My all time favorite. Craving something hot & sweet, gooooo!

I bought the strawberry churro, and the caramel churro, and they did not disappoint! Freshly made, hot and crunchy, not store bought. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a quality churro. Heads up, it's cash only.

You know its legit when its a small cart on the corner of a street. These churros are always made FRESH. Piping hot on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. Besides the typical plain cinnamon sugar, they also have different flavors like caramel, chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla they they fill on the inside. Considering how small/short these are, $2 per stick is kinda steep. Don't get me wrong these taste really good, but each of their sticks is like 1/3rd (not half) the length of a Disneyland/Costco churro. My favorite so far is the chocolate filled one, but the next time I'm in town I'll try the other flavors.

The "Churros Guerrero Cart" is a great place to get hot, fresh filled churros!This small food cart is located at the corner of High St & Bancroft Ave, in the Cardenas Supermarket Lot. I was cruising down High Street in East Oakland, when I spotted this food cart on the corner. I was curious about what they were selling. The friendly lady said "Churros! How many you want?" Then the man with her said "$2 my friend." Okay, $2 each for a filled Churro, cash only.I asked for one of each flavor they offered:-chocolate-strawberry-vanilla-caramelI think I liked vanilla best. The churros you get at Costco or any sporting event doesn't even come close. You get a choice of fillings (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, caramel, or unfilled). If you want to close out a nearby date with an exclamation mark, swing by to pick something up.
These churros are the best in the whole Bay Area. My favorite part of a churro is the fluffy inside and these churros are big enough where there is a good amount of the fluffy dough inside. They also do fillings inside the churros which I don't prefer but my friends love the caramel and custard fillings. The price is really cheap as well it's $1.50 for a regular churro. You can't beat that price anywhere!

This place has probably the best churros in the bay area. We came all the way from San Jose to try the churros and we were not disappointed. We had vanilla, caramel, and chocolate. Made fresh and very delicious. Must try. They only accept cash. The service is quick. This is a must try.Park by the supermarket and go and grab some delicious churros and enjoy.Parking: You can park at the supermarket parking lot.
