Crybaby is THEE spot in downtown Oakland. Love going there for themed nights. Definitely take some pics in the photobooth and in front of the mural!

They're charging $25 for Long Islands after you pay a $12 cover. The music isn't great for dancing and will mess up your hearing it's so loud, especially on the dance floor.

1. Music wasn't great for dancing.2. Even loud by nightclub standards. Wear ear plugs if you value your ear drums. Especially on the dance floor where the speakers are pointed.3. Most importantly........charged $25 for a Long Island. That takes some nerve. That's highway robbery. Even clubs in SF or Vegas don't charge that much. That's just trying to swindle your customers. All it does is create bad will.This was probably my 5th time there and definitely my last. Take your business elsewhere. There are other more deserving clubs in Oakland.

Went there for the femme rap night, place was super dead. The security guard made me feel a bit uncomfortable the way he was following and straight up just staring down my small group in the empty venue when we went to have a smoke. I would go again for an event that has more buzz but definitely don’t go here on a week night if you don’t wanna get creeped out.
Staff was unaccommodating when i asked for fresh air in the front since I have bad asthma and all they said to get out the way.Told me I either go to the back where everyone is smoking and crowded or leave.Ya'll do realize you have to accommodate disabilities as a business right??As I was leaving the club there was a bunch of girls chilling in front with the same girl who told me to get out the way. I'll be reporting ya'll.

Wow. This club had some great dancing and also some great oyster mushroom tacos. I wish I got the name of the person who was making the tacos. They were great. I'd go back for the tacos for sure. No guarantees these tacos are there every night but the night I was there the tacos were amazing.
