I made a reservation at 5 and we were seated immediately. The servers were very friendly & we were pleasantly surprised they cooked our meal for us. We ordered the Beef Combo & Stew Set B and that was more than enough for 2 people. Would definitely come back!

I've seen Don Blanc on several Insta and TicToc pages and typical patrons order their bbq table side. We ended up ordering some snack type foods not overly wanting to eat too much meat after a little night of kpop concerting. We ordered steamed egg, garlic fries, cheese corn, seafood Tteok-bokki, fish cake soup, kimchi fried rice, bulgogi, and a bunch of Banchan. It was ok. Skip the soggy fries and tteokbokk needed more sauce; get the bulgogi and steamed egg fosho! Some dishes come out later than expected and owners were apologetic and comped us. We were grateful for hyeongs kindly service and consideration. This is really a late spot for bbq and drinks. It's cold in here so bring a jacket w/ a hood *burr*, great kpop vibes and a fun place if your throwing back some soju. Kamsamnida hyeongs!

This place is legit! I am even bold enough to say it's the closest thing to LA KBBQ the Eastbay has to offer. The quality of the meat, all the banchans, and the service! Chris, our grill master was on top of his game, even on such a busy night he never let any meat get burnt or overcooked, grilled to perfection. He made sure the grill was always fresh, cookin and our cups were filled (shot!) we had a great time celebrating a bday here on a Friday night. This is now my new go to spot for KBBQ

OMG. This is what I imagine Korean barbecue should be like. It's a bit of fusion, traditional and clean! The hustle of the waitstaff is incredible, and the attention to detail is, IMO, incomparable. I can't believe this place escaped my attention all these years coming to Oakland! I had a variety of things, but to start off with, I had freshwater eel, which is a must have one time in your life, regardless of the cost. I think I had 10 different items on menu and had numerous side dishes, Bulgogi with ssam, soju.. etc, too much to mention, but I will include some pictures! I talked to the manager, and he says they're making some changes to the layout and menu, so in about six months. the place will have an even nicer atmosphere! I can't wait to go back.. Also, what was nice was to have a security guard in the parking lot because, you know, this area can be a little bit sketchy sometimes. This was probably my top 5 memorable nights out in awhile, and I wasn't even celebrating! Just a great meal and I felt like splurging a bit..

Don Blanc Korean BBQ is the go-to spot for a fantastic dining experience. Their Don Blanc combo set is a real crowd-pleaser, and the vibes are always good with plenty of space to relax. Plus, the servers, Vii and Pure, are super friendly and make sure you're well taken care of. If you're craving Korean BBQ with top-notch service, Don Blanc is where it's at!

It being my first visit at Don Blanc, I was thoroughly impressed with not only the quality of the meats, but the quality of the service. We ordered the beef set combo A, and for the price, it was a reasonable amount of food. The brisket was absolutely delicious and melts in your mouth. Also, the galbi was perfectly marinated. The stars of the show were the banchan however. Their banchan was amazing!! Definitely recommend -- we'll be back!

We had an amazing Korean barbecue lunch on a Saturday with the family. Ordered a variety of meats, steamed egg, seafood pancake, Kimchee jigae... loved it all. I especially loved all their homemade banchans which paired perfectly with our delicious grilled meats. The service was amazing! Loved the friendly manager who grilled meat for us! Thank you for the delicious lunch .. totally satisfied our Korean food craving for the week! We will be back!

It's a little more expensive but well worth it, very good meat and amazing customer service. They let us bring tortillas and salsa even a piece of cheese, they helped us cook the meat even cut it into smaller pieces to make tacos! They kept checking up on us to make sure everything was okay, not once did I have to call them over. My new favorite kbbq spot! Definitely a hidden gem.

My friend treated me to KBBQ for my birthday! The server cooks and cuts the meat for you, and they had nice side dishes. The parking lot is small, but we found street parking. We ordered a set menu, but we also added corn cheese! This place was a vibe and it was delicious! I want to try the intestines the next time I come here.

I would give this place a 3.5/5 if I could, but Yelp only allows whole numbers. Overall, this place is alright but definitely overhyped. We went as a party of 4 and ordered the Beef Set A, which was enough food for us. It wasn't super busy that day so they cooked the meat for us which was nice. It didn't come with complimentary rice unlike most Korean restaurants I go to, so we ordered 3 bowls of rice. The meat set has three cuts of meat: brisket, LA Galbi, and boneless galbi. The brisket was very disappointing. It was super dry and rough, definitely subpar quality. Most AYCE KBBQ brisket is better than this. The LA Galbi on the other hand was soooo good. Very sweet and nicely marinated and tender. The boneless Galbi was alright but a bit dry. The set comes with a lot of side dishes and a complimentary soup and we picked the kimchi soup. The kimchi soup was really disappointing. Lacked flavor, dry meat, huge pieces of kimchi that could've been cut for easier consumption. The side dishes were all super good and I especially liked the fish cake and kimchi. Overall not bad but it's overpriced and I'd really only go back for the LA Galbi and side dishes. The servers were all really nice so that's a plus.

Originally wanted to go to the restaurant next door but it was packed. Don Blanc just opened for dinner so it was easy for us to get a table. We reluctantly tried this place... We ordered the beef combo and some extras! The banchan was plentiful (not skimpy like other places), the meat was some of the fragrant meats Ive ever had. Every single piece of meat was succulent and seasoned perfectly (especially the Rib) !!! As we began to order the place started filling up like crazy! Service was still absolutely fantastic! They checked up on us frequently and made sure we had all we needed right away. Place was clean and very inviting! Hands down best Korean spot in The Bay Area!!! Must Try and Highly Recommend!!!!
