The sweetest and best neighborhood coffee shop in town!!Been going here for the past 10 years. Nice strong coffees, spicy chais done right, hearty & tasty sandwiches perfect for road trips, and my son’s favorite banana bread here.Tristan, thanks for always keeping everyone caffeinated, well fed, and connecting our neighborhood!!

This is a hidden gem for some of the best sandwiches in the Bay. Breakfasts burritos are really good too. And coffee and chai are delicious. I posted photos of the most recent menu.

I love this place! Beautiful artwork and atmosphere but in a small neighborhood community way. Lots of interesting people of all types get together and have ongoing discussions about everything. It reminds me very much of how cafes were in the 90s. The spicy chicken salad sandwich and the grilled paninnis are my favorite and the espresso drinks are excellent. Please keep this place a secret though! I don't want it to get crowded!

Went in this morning- like other reviews I agree this is more of a locals spot. Person working there was helping another customer when I arrived, actually just talking. Seemed nice with previous customer but I did not get the same service. Not very friendly, maybe it takes a while for him to warm up to you? As I was leaving I said thank you but was not acknowledged. Bagel was ok, got a cream cheese (just on half the bagel) with veggies (tomato, onion, cucumber). Picture attached My daughter got a breakfast sandwich on sourdough with avocado (no veggies) she said it was a little dry and not that tasty. Sorry no picture. I got a drip coffee- Coffee was mediocre, strong but not exactly in the best tasting way. Kind of bitter. They don't allow people to put their own cream and sugar, they do it for you so it wasn't made to my liking and I didn't want to bother by asking for more cream. If you live close by it's probably your only option in walking distance. Not many other shops close by. Maybe if I lived in the neighborhood I would give it another try but since I don't I won't be going out of my way to eat here.

My favorite cafe for GREAT coffee. Strong and made well. My dad literally comes every day for an espresso. Really good food too! The owner, Tristen, is a cool human who runs the show. Stop by and try Earthly Coffee for drinks and or food! Good fresh sandwiches.....

I’m never the type to write reviews, but if I could give this place a 0 star I would. I walked in with my boyfriend for a quick breakfast, I had a question about the breakfast sandwiches and my boyfriend asked the question. The guy working there seemed very racist because he looked at us annoyed face and answered very rudely and didn’t even answer our question so we just walked out. If you’re a person of color 0/10 do not recommend.

Visiting from out of town, I was extremely happy to find this place was just around the corner from where I was staying. A TREMENDOUS breakfast burrito, great sandwiches, and marvelous coffee. The fellow who helped, and cooked for me, was very nice and helped round out the terrific experience!

The most delicious sandwich made of real food--i.e., real pieces of chicken cut off a real roasted chicken, real aged cheese, real sun dried tomato jam, all on a real baguette, and with it a very tasty latte. My granddaughter had a blueberry/ginger juice drink. Relaxed ambiance. I love this place with high quality food and drink.

I went here two separate times because I was in town and it was close-by. It was some of the worst food I've ever eaten. The guy was nice but touched the food with his bare hands when making it. I definitely won't be coming back ?

We LOVED the breakfast here. Housemade juices also a must try! Great place to stop in the mornings for sure.Dietary restrictions: They were awesome about asking for no dairy, added some really good hot sauce instead.

This is definitely more of a local spot. We were driving through Oakland on the way back home and stopped by. I have a gluten allergy and was hoping to get something quick. As soon as we walked in and I asked for gluten free options ( Which btw on the menu online, glute free options twere present. See photo attached). The person behind the counter answered " no" before I could finish my sentence. He offered a salad option but since it was 7.30AM, I did not sound appetizing. I proceeded to ask if he would be able to make me a burrito without the tortilla and he said that it wouldn't come out right. Just felt unwelcome. I have worked in service industry for years and so has my family, surprised to see they could not offer even a side of eggs? I ended up getting the he burrito and throwing out the tortilla. Really nothing to rave about. Ambience is okay. The plants and decorations were cute but overall the place could use some deep cleaning. Just didn't feel like customer service was there. Please update the menu on Yelp so no others make the same mistake I did.

Favorite neighborhood coffee shop. Great coffee and good vegan options! The owner is very friendly and this place just feels like home.
