we went to dinner there last night, April 1st. When our food arrived we noticed a huge roach running on our table. I jumped in total shock out of my seat at the table. I finally knocked it off the table and shouted "you have roaches!!. The manager totally played it down using many excuse. Where there are roaches running around in the daytime, there are much more!!

Stopped by for the first time in over a year. It used to be one of my favorite burrito spots. They used to be very heavy handed with the rice, so I ordered my food with light rice and light beans. Unfortunately the only thing that was light, was the carne asada. The food was surprisingly lukewarm, considering the server wore hand protection carrying the plate.

We had a split order of hard-shell tacos (grilled chicken, and fish) and street tacos (chicken, and carnitas). None of them were memorable. Of the hard-shell tacos, the grilled chicken was a nicer portion than the fish; the flavor of each was so-so.Of the street tacos, the carnitas was okay, but the chicken was a few small flavorless shreds hidden under a mountain of chopped tomato and onion, with just a sprinkling of cilantro.Oakland has a multitude of choices for this kind of food, and this quality level means a forever pass in the future. I also didn't appreciate being charged $1 for each order for a takeaway container. I realize it costs them something, but certainly nothing like that; and probably less than it costs them to wash dishes for dine-in customers.

Wanted to try a new restaurant somewhere in town and we stopped by this place because all of the places we had in mind were closed on Monday. Came in there were a few customers and we were free to sit wherever we liked. The server was real polite and quick to take our orders. My boyfriend ordered a no.1 dinner combo that came with an enchilada, a taco and a tamale I believe with a side of rice and beans. He also ordered a horchata. My son wanted fries and they only had a side of fries that was $7.95 (sheesh)I ordered a regular chicken famoso burrito.I tried my boyfriends horchata and it tasted like they bought the store powder that you just add water to and added ice - gross.I took one bite of his steak enchilada and it was disgusting the enchilada sauce had no flavor and it tasted old like it was frozen and reheated. I tasted my sons fries they tasted like they had freezer burn and were fried in oil that's all I tasted it was nasty. My burrito however was decent but we both agreed we will not be coming here ever again. We usually go to their taco truck but after this visit we don't know if we want to go there anymore either. I don't recommend this place, but I gave it a try.

Dang, just paid $27.00 (not including tip) for 2 tacos, rice, beans, and a small cheese quesadilla. When did Mexican food get so expensive? I love this place but can't afford to ever come back here. Such a shame!!! I wish them well. 5 stars for the food. Negative 2 stars for the price.

Friendly food truck. Good taco, took some tacos to go but they dont stand up too well with time. If you eat tacos there, I suggest eating the tacos only within the first ten minutes or so.I went for tacos because I saw a couple people outside the truck, pretty friendly along with those in the truck. I immediately ordered one taco of buche, even with one they gave me small onions and radishes. Tasted great but I wish I could have tasted the taco with the salsa on top, just to get a better taste of how they season the meat and the tortilla by themselves. The salsa is just like cream on a cake, it was good but it shouldn't be so much in the spotlight.Came back a little later and got tacos de pastor, cabeza, and tripa. I forgot to ask for salsa on the side. Tripas (intestines) were fried, too heavy for my taste. Im also used to tacos al pastor from Mexico City so I couldn't really tell which one was cabeza and which was pastor.Gave them a four because it's been a long time since I had a taco in California and I didn't expect much, exceeded my expectations, but having a chat with these guys in this truck made me want to discover more tacos around this area.

Been living in Oakland fir some time and tried many Mexican restaurants over the years. We use to hit this truck all the time but honestly didn't do the actual restaurant till recently. Was recommended to go by a friend and this place delivered on the hype. We had pupusas with Curtido. Super burrito, rice and bean, and lengua tacos. The pupusas were lightly crisp on the outside and soft in the center with loaded meat and cheese. The curtido was crispy and refreshing with the vinegar twang to brighten the dish. Once done with those we moved to the tacos which were succulent and juicy. Amazing amount of meat that barely let them get folded and picked up. The beans were super creamy retried and rice done properly. Now the star of the show which is the gigantic. These burritos should only be fully consumed if you're ready to loosen your belt buckle, have fasted for a day, kept up with the exercise routine and received clearance from your health professionals. Seriously excellent eats with the creamy beans, juicy grilled chicken, meaty cheese and wrapped in a foot long soda can girth. Hella tasty. Pro tip: get extra napkins. They will be needed.

Got a super steak burrito today 8/5/21 I got home think I'm slam this burrito and watch a movie. I bite it and immediately taste salty. I said no beans no rice, only steak, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro. Burrito mainly full of sour cream. Worse burrito ever?? I can't even get my money back.
