WOM - Waste Of Money. Food was horrible, I had a patty melt and asked for medium, it came out well done. The burger patty was small, the $4 upgrade to include onion rings was a joke, it was actually a downgrade because they were the worst onion rings I've ever had that and includes the stuff you get at Burger King, Carl's Jr. etc. I would call these onion "skins" because the were thin as could be, where is the onion?? The service was not good, I left a $0 tip and I think that's the first time I've ever done that. Hopefully you see this BEFORE going here, I wish I had looked at the reviews first!!

I had a door dash order that took almost an hour to get here . First of all everything was open and my hamburger was open . Everything was cold ! I ordered a gluten free bun , but it didn't look like it was and when trying to contact the restaurant, they just took messages so I will never order from them again , especially finding everything open to the dasher!

I came here to leave a good review and I'm glad I did. The food was high quality. My Ahi salad was great. The shoestring fries were great plain and doctored with truffle oil and Parmesan. I love that the cook and servers were all family. I also like that it's a family run business too. The options were plentiful and we didn't feel rushed while my son and I built a small Lego set and had lunch. They put on some football to accommodate me. The restroom was super clean, too which was nice to see. The tables were clean, the condiments were clean. The waiter offered mayo or ranch to go with the fries. They were really sweet to my son, giving him compliments on his new Lego toy. In an Oakland with disintegrating "mom and pop" options, I hope you take a chance and support your local while getting into some good grub!

Enjoyed dinner in the Bay here while on a recent travel adventure. There are SO many delicious sounding entrees to choose from on this menu! My good buddy ordered the burger with fries. I ordered the chicken and vegetable stir fry over a bed of rice noodles. The burger sounded great. The fries sounded superb. My stir fry dish was amazing! SO much flavor! Perfectly cooked and HUGE proportions of all of the ingredients in this dish. We split a great tasting, not too sweet, slice of chocolate mousse pie for desert. We enjoyed delish food, tea, and lovely conversation while dining outside at a cafe in front of the restaurant on the sidewalk as Montclair visitors passed by. Our waiter was attentive, helpful, and had a great demeanor about him. Highly recommend stopping here for any meal any time!

I paid $12 for a reconstituted chicken patty exactly like the one they gave us in my high school cafeteria. Also for some reason they put onions and then also pickled onions?? Anyway, it was gross enough for one bite and then the bin. Don't lie on the menu and tell us it's a gourmet chicken breast when it's frozen curly fries and frozen chicken patty from the supermarket.

We came here because it was one of the only spots open for the 4th of July 2023. I will do be back. The food was fast and fresh, the waiter kind, and the prices are ABSOLUTELY amazing.
I ordered the Bulgogi Burger, and it was awful. I don't like to send food back, but I couldn't manage more than one bite. The waitress said that people complained about it being spicy, so they just stopped marinating the beef. Which means it's beef on a grill, not bulgogi at all. She never offered a replacement and refused to remove the charge for the uneaten, falsely advertised burger. We were told to return the next day at 11:30 to speak with the owner. The owner never showed, but the manager also refused to refund it, saying that the server had told them we ate it all, and that even if only one bite was taken, they couldn't resell it anymore like that (Implying that they reuse uneaten food that is sent back?!?). Horrible food, service, ethics, and an implication of horrible health practices. Never again.

My wife ordered the Bulgogi Burger and one bite made her sad. We sent it back and they did not offer anything else, so my wife didn't get to eat. The waitress Kiara would not take the charge off the bill and told me to see the owner Mike the next morning at 11am. Mike never showed, but some woman manager I spoke with said the waitress told her we ate everything and would not issue a refund. Bad business practices. Don't eat here.

This place has upset me today. My daughter ordered her usual shoestring french fries and an American grilled cheese sandwich. We didn't look at the menu because we already knew what we wanted. I was very specific about it; however, when getting the grilled cheese sandwich, we noticed it had bacon. We took it back inside and asked if they could remake it without the bacon. Juan Antonio told me no, that's what I ordered. Are you joking? He said no, that's what you ordered. You saw it on the screen, and you agreed, and I said no. I did not see anything on the screen. He said, but you order that. I said I did not order a bacon-grilled cheese sandwich. I ordered an American grilled cheese sandwich. You did not say anything came on it, and I was very specific about it. However, the guy was unwilling to give me a refund or remake it. I stood there for 15 minutes trying to convince the guy that this was what I ordered. He was not willing to do it. Finally, he said this is your last time as if I had done it before, but what he was saying was, I am no longer welcome there. Juan Antonio, I did not appreciate how he treated us today, and we will no longer do business there. He made it seem as if I was not in the right to bring my food back if there was an issue. He stated you walked out with it; it's yours. Then he also replied with no business do that. I don't know where he eats it, but if you ever have a problem with your food, you should be able to see if you have it delivered, whether it's eating there or going to go, you have a right to either get your money back or have it remade. We will no longer be doing business with flippers, gourmet burgers.

4 of us came here for lunch. All of our orders were wrong, with out saying "oh my apologies" she just grabbed our plates and walked off with attitude! Then they came back with again the wrong order! So annoying won't be coming back. Try another place, lots of options around here. Then they bring the wrong beer argh so annoying they don't pay attention.
