By far the most expensive sandwich I’ve ever had!! ? ? ? I thought $15 or $16 for a sandwich was expensive. But $31 dollars???? This is a one time mistake and I will not be back a second time. Save your time and hard earned money ?. It is not worth it! The place was a mess. Looked like a storage room. I peaked in and had to ask if they were open. I thought maybe they were closed and were in the process of restocking and cleaning up. This is the lowest rating I’ve ever given. I gave 2 stars for customer service due to the ladies that were making the sandwiches, they were nice. The sandwich ? was fine. But definitely not good enough to justify charging $31 including a soda. For $31 you can buy an XL pizza ? somewhere else and feed a whole family!! Not a fan of the tall skinny man there either. He might be the owner. I asked him for hand sanitizer, he wouldn’t even provide that! No apologies nothing! Everybody gives you hand sanitizer, it’s a basic necessity! I find him cunning. Just my opinion.

I'm giving one star for stale bread it's so stale I couldn't eat anymore this is not French bread it's more like a hotdog bun it got soggy too on its 5 minute drive home. The search continues for a good sandwich place in Oakland

Really unique but delicious, traditional submarine sandwich place. Popped in on our drive home and was surprised when we walked into what felt like a closet. They definitely specialize in take away orders and quick pick ups, but they make a mean sandwich. you won’t find a regular menu, just be prepared to answer a lot of questions and you’ll get a high quality sub!

The sandwich was good enough, though the Costco-esque hot dog bun roll fell apart on one half. My problem here was the price: two18in sandwiches with avocado and two bags of chips total was $60 with a $5 cash tip given. I would be much more inclined to return here if the price was half or even 2/3 of that. I mean really? $30 for a large sandwich and a bag of chips seems a bit outrageous even for Montclair. The owner is nice and organized though.

Paid 13.45 for a tiny mediocre sandwich on a hot dog bun. Ordering experience was unnecessarily uncomfortable and difficult as the cashier insisted on listing off every ingredient on the menu.

I keep trying this place because I want to believe they can make a good sandwich, but it is just so bad. The ingredients are basic and the sandwiches just don't taste good. That's the bottom line. Aside from that the ordering process is stupidly overwhelming. He speaks quickly to make it all speedy, but there are 100 questions coming at you at once, about every little thing. And at the end of the day, it's still not yummy. I'm finally going to give up.

4 meat combo: ham, pastrami, pepperoni & roast beef with provolone! Very satisfying! After moving to Portlandia, Peter had me still on file after not ordering for 8 years!

Super yummy sandwich. Expensive but felt it was worth it. Speedy service too! Small storefront and nowhere to sit so plan to take your sandwich to go.

The sandwich was served in a hot dog bun that's used at Costco. I paid 70$ for two 12in sandwich, 2 bags of chips, and two drinks. Crazy price. I could've went to a restaurant and gotten a better meal. He asked if I wanted my smoked turkey warm or not and he just put it in the microwave. What the heck is up with that. Crazy prices for horrible quality. A sandwich at Peet's coffee is better than buying from here. Try it yourself if you want to pay for such an expensive meal.

A unique place that puts sandwiches and customization first. Make sure u order everything precisely and not get overcharged. If you need a quick grinder on the go, this is the place for you!
