The vegan food is on point everytime , the ladies running the business are very nice & friendly they love to make sure your order is taken care of with love. The mushrooms very crispy and delicious. The Mac & cheese is out this world seriously and the prices very reasonable, I definitely go here 3 times a week ? love & respect always ?Dietary restrictions: No soy or no beyond meat

The menu looks great and the employees were nice, but the front door doesn't open wide enough for a standard wheelchair. Whatever other virtues this restaurant might have, disabled people deserve to know that before they brave the extremely broken sidewalks to try to have a nice dinner here. Maybe someday they'll be on an app and I'll get to try the food, but until then, I just have to say to management that a filthy open air parklet next to trash cans is not equal access.

Amazing food and super friendly people!The birria tacos are the best I've ever had, Including the ones I've had in Mexico. The pecan ice cream with the apple streusel was incredible.Everything tastes homemade and high quality, definitely one of the best vegan restaurants in the bay area!10/10 I can't wait to go back ?

Food both tasted like a home cooked meal made with love and fancy restaurant quality at the same time. Beet burger was an 11/10 on taste and texture, grits was the best I've had including in the south and the streusel with house made maple pecan ice cream was super flavorful perfection. Good gf options too including a gf bun for the burger (little northern bakehouse, my personal favorite gf bread brand). The girls running the place were super sweet, accommodating and incredibly talented. Drove over from SF after a show for some late night vegan eats and will definitely be back again!

I don't know why this place ain't got a 5 star on the maps. The food was phenomenal! The energy was great and if you from the south like me, and looking for the real southern taste. You gotta come to Hella Nuts. The food, the desert, and the drinks everything was spot on. Treat yourself don't cheat yourself.

This place is so so good. Dishes made with real love and artistry and without relying on soy products, which means low processing, just genuine good vegan eats. The walnut ground they use in the taco was awesome, the veggie boil garlic spice sauce was absolutely delicious. Nacho cheeze sauce was light umami goodness. Mushroom nuggets were fried to perfection. My tummy is so happy!

One of the most delicious, zesty, and vibrant vegan eateries/ restaurant in Oakland, Bay Area - for the culture! Hella-Nuts is Black women owned, conscious, and vibrant! They took me back to the south with the delicious, gourmet style fried green tomatoes (with corn meal). It had a Bay Area gourmet twist with truffle sauce that was amazing - garlicy-zesty-tangy, on top of the fried green tomatoes with lionsmane! I also loved the “I can’t believe it’s no flesh” sandwich, made with fried lionsmane in corn meal, with lettuce, tomato, cornichon pickles, and a dill sauce! Hella good! ?! You will looooove! The fried cauliflower was also delicious, zesty, and great texture! I also ordered a side of fries - delicious too! You will love it all; so many options on the menu!
