Nice people. Edible but not all that good ramen. Watery broth, like bouillon with some Miso. Probably won't be back.

Good food. Price consistent with the area. Ambiance solid. Not too crowded or too loud. We could talk to each other without shouting but it wasn't dead. Service was amazing. Our drinks were comped because they arrived after our food was served. We did not ask for comp or special treatment. The server was cognizant of what happened and comped us on their own initiative.

The food is fabulous, the staff is fabulous. It was a wonderful experience. If I lived here I would go back.

I was spurred to get to Itani for Oakland Restaurant Week. Since we came for lunch we didn't try the cocktails, but they looked good - maybe next time. I also appreciate that they are open all day during the week because I never know when I will get a break to head to lunch. We did the Restaurant Week menu of 2 pieces of Hamachi Sashimi, which were cut well and super succulent and the Oxtail and Spicy Shrimp Ramens. Both were very flavorful in their own way, the spice on the shrimp was not too spicy and we loved the fresh bean sprouts giving a little crunch. The space consists of plenty of tables or seats at the long bar. Servers were very nice and attentive and checked back to make certain everything was good (a lost art). Would love to sneak in for the happy hour sometime.

Good but not amazing. Kind of bland compared to other ramens I've had. Chashu was good.

Disappointed in the amount of broth (pint, not full) for the amount of noddles. I got carry out miso pork ramen. Won’t be returning, Marufuku is a much better option, more flavorful broths and larger portions.

Really not that great, ramen broth lacks flavor, and they won't give extra sides of spice. Gyoza not all that either. Sushi and their spiked yuzu lemonade is great during happy hour, other than that, wouldn't waste my money.

Taylor gave my friends and I excellent care this afternoon. It was pretty quiet, bc it's a Monday, but it was good food and peaceful. Video is of me taking a saki shot for my bday

Excellent stop before our show at Fox Theatre. Shared 20 gyoza's among 4 and the drinks were beautiful to see, enjoyable to taste.

This is one of our go-to (top 3) spots in this area, and we absolutely love the Ramen, Tapanaki chicken (yum), and specials. The staff is fabulous, has no issue w/parking, and the area Itani Ramen is in has lively nightlife on weekends.

Your quest for ramen is over. Itani is the best ramen spot hands down. I have tried countless other places across the bay and everytime I find myself saying it's not as good as Itani. I have yet to be disappointed with any item on there menu. Slurp up my friends, it doesn't get better than this.

Ordered take out. Food came quick and broth was hot. The meal was packaged nicely. Ramen meat (I got chasu, oxtail) and egg were delicious. The noodles are so-so. They are squiggly and weirdly thick, kinda taste cheap. Broth was good but pretty dang salty. It also came in a half full container with about a quarter inch layer of fat. I understand the fat is part of the meal but it didnt sit well with the amount of broth I got. 4/5.
