After my movie, I noticed the sidewalk billboard for this place, so decided to check it out. I tried the mini carrot cake, red velvet, and the spice cupcakes--so good! Spice cupcake was my fav. Lots of flavor and moist. Cute place, with a small display case of delicious options. The cupcakes are made on site, with a decadent butter cream frosting. Service was welcoming. I'll be back!

First off let me start by saying that if I could double the review ratings I would ! From start to finish working with this shop was extremely professional, and smooth . They were able to accommodate the type of cake needed for my mother's surprise party which was a gluten free and on top of that they take great pride in their work so if there's something that they felt wasn't right they went over and Beyond to make sure that it would be acceptable upon pickup. They went out of their way to deliver it to us although we have not scheduled it for a delivery and we're nothing but nice. It's nice to see that customer service it's still important . Now let's dig into the cake , it was absolutely amazing . It was moist the icing was delicious and we were all pleasantly surprised and had to stop ourselves from eating the whole thing in one sitting . Definitely has gained the customer who will continue to get our cakes and cupcakes and desserts from this location . If the owner and the staff is reading this we appreciate you when we thank you so much .

Excellent service here! Ordering online and in-store pickup was a simple process. They let us know when something wasn't available with a quick call and replaced items with something equally delicious. The selection is wonderful especially since we have friends with nut allergies. It is great to have options for them as well. The cupakes are beautiful and my daughter loved her birthday surprise.Edited: Just adding that every purchase since our first has been delightful! I wish I could buy cupcakes from here everyday. The latest order was perfect! Our twins loved their cake.

My wife ordered two dozen assorted cupcakes for my son's first birthday. I was tasked with picking up the cupcakes the day prior to the birthday, however, was delayed, waiting for a service technician at my house that arrived 3 hours later than than the scheduled window, ultimately overlapping with my pick up time for the cupcakes. By the time the technician left, it was 4 PM, closing time for James and the Giant Cupcake. I called immediately to see if there was any way to salvage this (not wanting have blown my son's first birthday), and the owner was extremely accommodating, offering to wait for me after closing if I could get there in the next 30 minutes. This was above and beyond on a Friday afternoon to stay after closing for a customer that missed there pickup. I'm very appreciative of the empathy and understanding of the owner, but beyond that, the amazing product. The cupcakes were a hit and the were the talk of the birthday party. Thanks to James and the Giant Cupcake for saving the day!

Cupcakes, who doesn't like cupcakes, especially the fancy decorated ones. I was able to try some from James & The Giant Cupcake, located in the Jack London Square area. It's a cute little shop with a couple of tables for two in front. Their make their cupcakes using the finest, freshest and sustainable ingredients sourced from local farmer's markets.They offer mini, regular and giant cupcakes. There were 13 varieties in regular and mini sizes. I didn't see any giant ones in the display case.I got the following:Over the Rainbow -Vanilla Blue Sky buttercream with a sweet and sour rainbow ribbonCocoa Crazy - Chocolate cupcake filled with chocolate sauce topped with chocolate buttercream, chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinklesMini funfetti - Vanilla rainbow sprinkles cupcake topped with vanilla buttercream and more rainbow confetti sprinklesThe cupcakes were delicious. Their style is on the dense side versus fluffy. If you're looking for some tasty fancy cupcakes, check this place out.
