Had the saffron and it is easily the best flavor ice cream I've had. It is such a refreshing flavor, rich, creamy and super unique. I got the mashti special. Saw this place on Food Insider as top 5 CA ice cream and definitely lives up.

Every trip is a blessing. It gives me the opportunity to spend time with my siblings. As we move forward without our father or mother.Generally, I am pushed around by my younger brother. So if I'm not behind the counter, it's because my brother has exiled me..

Nice place! Serving their community; go visit them even though there's construction ongoing!

This place was closed for a moment when a show off lost control of their car and ran right into the ice cream store! It took them awhile to deal with permits and contractors, but they are open now and they are ready for business. I tried a cone strawberry, it was good the portion was surprisingly abundant. While I was there I decide to try a cup of pistachio ice cream. Mr. Benjamin is such a nice person I will keep coming back for him and the ice cream.

J's Ice Cream is located across from a school. it's cheap. (1.25). also on menu: corn dogs(1.25) sodas, chips(1), candies.(.75) all the goodies are behind a wooden barrier. all customers, regardless of age, are addressed as "sir" ice cream is average, not sugared up, tastes better than the "thrifty" kind.

i used to come here right before school started (lockwood) in my 5th grade. i used to get my hot cheetoes with cheese every morning from here (wat a great breakfast). havnt been her in over 6 yrs so not sure how it is anymore. back then it was ran by an old couple. they were very sweet sometimes they would even hook you up with a lil extra candy or something. i miss my mornings with my hot cheetoes with cheese.
