Really good sushi and a surprisingly broad assortment of other foods, amazing service, and open until a ridiculously late time in the evenings. If you're not sure what's still open and you're hungry near Temescal, this is your place, right here. No need to settle for "whatever's open" when you can have amazing sushi and bento until after midnight!Their space is a little weird, they have two storefronts that are kinda joined at the hip. They make it work really well, though! there are TVs, but they usually have something chill on, like a Miyazaki film, and not filled with commercials and blaring. Very chill atmosphere, good place to hang out with friends, be human, and enjoy life.Their tuna tataki and spicy edamame are especially awesome.

Love coming here! Great service that's fast and friendly. Love the decor and homage to Haha Miyazaki with the pictures and movies. Food is amazing! Every roll ordered is delicious. Love starting off with hamachi Kama and trying new rolls each time. Just like any neighborhood in the Bay Area, you take parking with caution nowadays. But I will still come here on a late night. They're worth it.

The lighting solution for a warm and soothing environment is brilliant. The lights look like salmon rolls haha!! Love it!!! The flaming dragon was a very nice surprise! Amazing presentation, spacious restaurant, and friendly staff. Would recommend, 5/5! We'll be back.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant. It's kind of a dump in a way which makes it very charming and perfect. The two chefs are very friendly and generous on portions of sashimi. Their ramen options are good as well, really can't recommend this place enough. Found it after the line at the famous spot up the street was too long.

I ordered Koryo sushi to be delivered last night. It was a hit and a miss. I used to frequent the restaurant. It was always good. So I got the short ribs appetizer. They are the best. But I got 3 small pieces for $10. Delicious but I think too expensive. I got the fried chicken appetizer. Good but again $10 for a small amount. I got the shrimp tempura. Very disappointing. $12 for 4 mushy and icky shrimps. Not enuf tempura dipping sauce. I got the potato croquette. $10 for 2 tiny circles of overly processed potatoes. Definitely from frozen. Shame. 2 tbsp of potato costing $10. I got the tempura roll. I ate one piece and I literally had to spit it out. F**k! So nasty!! My husband ate a sashimi order and said it was ok. I don't think I'd order again. I'd have to be desperate. They are open super late. That is a plus.
