Got an order of Hawaiian Hot chicken with brown rice which came with a of course sweet potato salad side. Based on the presentation of the plate, it looks to be exactly how a healthy meal should be with 1/4 grains, 1/4 vegetables, and 2/4 meat. Brown rice was hard and extremely cold making it taste like it just got out of the refrigerator. It's ok to have Kale on the side, but why is there so much soggy onion and pepper on the bottom. Pineapple Cauliflower salad bowl - 6.8/10I thought it would be worse tbh according to the reviews all of ... ALL of the lulubowls in the Bay Area. I ordered it and it was too late to cancel. I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews! I've ordered from here several times on ubereats and I like their menu better than some other "bowl" restaurants. The purple noodle salad is delish and so is the teriyaki bowl. NOW if you are comparing this to a typical Hawaiian BBQ spot you will be disappointed. This is on the healthier side and is not an authentic comparison to anything but a salad spot. Works for me.
