Amazing quality for good price!!! The sashimi was so fresh, and some of the best scallop I've had. Service was so kind. They were really sweet, and considerate! The restaurant is a bit small, so I recommend making a reservation if you can! Cute interior and the dishes that they plate the food on contribute so much to the vibes!

One of the best sushi I ever had in Bay Area. I am Japanese. I was born and grew up in Japan. This restaurant brings back me to Japan. It's authentic, flavorful, highly crafted edomae sushi. Drinks are good too- sobacha is amazing. And deserts are... so great too. I got Matcha cheesecake and Sakuramochi. Amazing. Yeah, I admit I ate lot.

SO GOOD. Best place to get high quality sushi for an affordable price in the east bay. Fish literally melts in your mouth, tastes fresh, and is paired really well with the seasoned sushi rice. We got the omakase ($25), one chef's choice and one personalized (5/5) spicy tuna maki (5/5) and Santa Barbara uni (4/5) - overall really good. I'll definitely be back to get my sushi fix!

had the pleasure of dining in for the first time after ordering takeout and delivery for years. fish was great as always but i really appreciated the elevated presentation + tea you get in person.gala was a wonderful server. very sweet guy -- personable and knowledgeable. hands down my favorite sushi spot in the east bay.

Went here last night, waited about an hour to get a seat. Ordered a toro trio, chef's choice nigiri combo, and negi hama hosomaki. All three orders were taken, then 5 minutes later I was informed the toro trio was sold out. That's fine! Later I was served the nigiri combo, which was average but poorly seasoned and definitely not worth the hype. I never received the negi hama hosomaki which I ordered. Poor service, won't be coming back!

Love the quality food and service. I thought I might get disappointed against what seemed like a hype, but this place deserves its rating! Wonderful lunch option when you need high quality sushi without having to spend $$$$. We need more spots like Mujiri in this area. ?

I love this place! It's my new favorite sushi in the East Bay. I've had sushi in Tokyo, very high end sushi at Michelin starred places, and the fish here is of similar quality. Highly recommended, and LEGIT!

10/10 this is the best nigiri I've ever had, the Toro is my favorite but it's all fantastic.

Honestly my favorite place in the Oakland/Emeryville area to get sushi. It's small inside and you're always welcomed to make reservation via Yelp. The quality of the sushi is amazing for the price and I'm always leaving full afterwards + my wallet isn't drained - it's a win-win. The servers and chefs are always opened to recommend suggestions and great people to talk with if you're dining in by yourself.

Very delicious and fresh fish. Some rolls weren't wrapped tightly if you care about that kind of thing, but we didn't and food was delicious. We had to wait for an indoor table, since it's a pretty small space, but thankfully space for two opened up relatively quickly.
