On Saturdays, they only do to-go. That was fine by me as I had a puppy waiting for me at home. I swear, I put him in his crate for 35 minutes so I can go get gas and pick up a meal and this boy whines when I get back like I left him for a day without food or water. Anyway, the food was great. They are soon raising their prices which they posted (I mean, inflation) but even when they do, I think I'm coming back here. I got a mini breakfast and an OJ and left a pretty good tip and it was very reasonable. Btw, if that's the mini breakfast, American's are eating too much. I got a heap of home fries, an egg, 2 sausage and 2 slices of buttered rye toast. While I waited I saw one customer come in and was greeted by first name. When I left the woman working there was very kind while handing me my food. My dog waited for me to finish just so he could justify begging me to lick the plate. He enjoyed the egg yolk.

Best corned beef hash in the Bay Area, everything is super well priced and the fresh orange juice is amazing.

Food is great. The chicken teriyaki is bomb and the salad dressing are all good and fresh made. Can't go wrong with breakfast or lunch menu. I highly recommend this place..

The food is literally AMAZING! My favorite thing to get from here is the rib-eye steak sandwich. They serve it on sourdough sliced bread with tomato, lettuce, and fries on the side. They also give you a slice of melon to go with it .

This is my all-time favorite breakfast spot in the Bay Area, I've been here multiple times and had different plates, everything so far has been amazing!! I love their French toast even though I didn't get it this time I wanted to try their burgers and they were soooooo good! Very good seasoning and the special sauce they have is amazing. The little older lady that's behind the cash register always provides the BEST customer service.

Was in here yesterday. About 7 right when it opened. Seated right away. Place is very small. Cozy. Charming i think. Service was amazing. Plenty of coffee refills. Big portions. Pancakes were great. But the hashbrowns, wow. Maybe the best I ever had. Perfect crunch on the outside. Had the green Tabasco sauce which I love. Great experience. Location isn't the best. Tents. Bums. Around the corner. But that's oakland. Parked right in front so I could keep a eye on my truck

My son and I were looking for a place to eat and was driving thru the neighborhood and found Nibs to be a place with high ratings on Google (thru Google Maps) and also Yelp. I was a bit worried of the parking situation of the neighborhood but looked past it and parked around the block... it looks sketchy but seriously it'll be okay. Went inside we were immediately seated and menus given. What impressed me when I sat down, the waitress used a disposable cleaning wipe to clean the table and made sure it was clean. Also noticed everything she handed us from the menu, our silverware and condiments were also clean. I could see the kitchen from where I was sitting and it was super clean and organized. So extra comfortable. We ordered and talk about big portions! My guacamole omelette was the best omelette I've ever had and with rice!! My son had waffles, eggs and sausage and he ate that up too! The waitress and cook were so nice to give us our food we enjoyed so much! I left a good tip and will be back again this week! Glad we found a great place with good people!

I was looking for a place to get a good hot breakfast. It was OK... The place is a hole in the wall spot. I ordered grits, an omelette and sourdough toast. I wanted coffee but they didn't have vanilla creamer. That's the 1st thing that irritated me. THEN my grits were lumpy AF and lukewarm. The omelette was cool. They do have a varied selection of hot sauces for your eggs if you're into that. I'm on the fence but I doubt I'd give them a 2nd chance.

It was ok, my first time. It's one of those go to spots for breakfast when you run out of time a mom&pop shop. Potatoes wasn't all the way cooked, and they were just potatoes no onion or pepper. However they did grill them longer and added green onions. Prices are decent, however I won't be quick to return..

One of my favorite places of all time. I've been going here since I was a child. From their first location that unfortunately burned down, to their return many years ago, to their current home; this place has been consistently one of the best homey breakfast/lunch joints! Everything on them menu is superb and the staff (family owned) are always so kind and sweet. On top of everything, their portions are VERY generous and prices are very fair. I recommend this place to every person I know, I support them whole hearted!
