Don’t go on a Sunday. Went to two different locations that said they were open and they’re closed.

I went 2 days in a row at around 10 A.M. and it was never open. I don't recommend stoping there it's a waste of time.

Closed at 9 am on a Tuesday! Website says they open at 8 on Tuesdays. No answer on phone and VM is full. Won’t go out of my way to try it another time!

$7.15 for a regular size iced coffee. $8.15 if you want oat milk. Tip screen suggests 18%, 25%, 30% tip. No

I was so excited to go give this place a try since I've seen it on Instagram so many times. First, I can't stand it when I'm not greeted and staff make me feel like why am I there. Then I ordered the cute little creme filled donuts but they didn't seem fresh. Lastly, was never thanked for coming or have a great day, again felt like why was I there.

First time at this place and my husband and I enjoyed the coffee and food very much. While we waited they have free samples of the coffee and doughnuts. We ordered 2 lattes and it was delicious. The breakfast sandwich was tasty overall in terms of the bread which was toasted nicely, the egg and bacon was seasoned beautifully but when we asked for jalapenos it wasn't spicy at all but more for the crunch factor. If we are in the area, it's a nice spot for breakfast. highly recommend to Give it a try.

This is my go to when I'm nearby Oakland in the morning. It was a bright and sunny day when I recently went! I am not much of a daily coffee drinker so it is a nice treat to come and get a hand crafted Vietnamese iced coffee! Here is the verdict: Service (5/5)- the lady at the register was super nice and clarified any questions I had. They call your name and give you the tasty treats and/or drinks from either side of the mini cafe. Ambience (5/5) - the decorum has a festive theme for for the holiday. It is like a stop and go mini cafe but they do have a few tables/bench for you to sit and enjoy talking to friends or while you wait. They have plenty of donut samples (weekends only) and Vietnamese coffee! Donuts (5/5) - crispy pieces of dough with sugar sprinkled make it a perfect pair with your coffee drink yum! The comet (4/5) - chocolate and coffee combo, it has a slight dark chocolate bitter taste I personally do not enjoy, but its my fiend's go to drink. Get this is you love that combo Ube nebulae (4/5) - it looks really pretty! This was for a family member and they finished it, but the last time I got this I did not really taste the ube. I am going off the previous time I had this drink. Starberry (5/5) - Absolutely in love with this drink! It will probs be my new fave here. It is strawberry preserves with milk and a shot of espresso, which is not the classic viet coffee. It is so pretty and so good! Its not so sweet either! Upon reflection, I may try the Vietnamese iced coffee next time for comparison. Overall my experience here is pretty similar and has become a spot I frequent, so I would def recommend this spot!

true to the name, the iced coffee is out of this world!! i'd like to continue consuming massive quantities of this stuff, but it gives me some pause w/ the responses I've gotten bringing back washed growlers for recycling. establishments traditionally offer either discounts or just the option to recycle these containers. however, today i was unfortunately (and rudely!) asked if "i had recycling at home....like, at my house?" and to "not bring these back again." this begs a few questions. first, does orbit not recycle anything in-house? that would be concerning. second, while i realize COVID may mean refills are not currently an option, ya'll don't want to incentivize bringing these guys back for recycling/reuse at all (even if not at the store level)? approx bulk pricing for unlabeled 1/2 gal growlers ranges from $6-9 each ... that adds up real quick. food for thought. from someone that yes, does recycle at home. thanks for asking.

I've been to the downtown Oakland location and hit this one up to try it. There was only one person making orders on one side of the warehouse type location they have set up, but she kept walking over to the other side of the building. Not sure what was going on there. That server definitely needed help and I don't know what the other person was doing that impeded them from doing so. Foodwise, I had a chicken banh mi which was pretty lacking. Chicken was dry, bread was crusty but too porous and not in a good way... it gave it a weird mouth feel. There was no pickled daikon to offset the flavors, just carrot. I could have easily gone to a different location a better sandwich. The dark matter drink was a disappointment. I'd never tried it before but it seems like the cookies all settled in the bottom making it really gritty. Next time, I'll stick to an iced drink. I probably wont come back to this place based on distance and subpar performance.

This was my third time trying Orbit Coffee and my opinion has not changed. I think this place is overhyped and overpriced. Let's start off with the positives. The interior is really cute, there's no seating so it's more of a grab-n-go place. Luckily, there were samples being offered right when I got there. I got to sample their mini donuts and the Vietnamese coffee! The mini donuts were delicious, I loved the texture and the cinnamon taste but I did not order donuts this day. On the negative side, I felt like the coffee was just regular Vietnamese coffee that you can order for cheaper at a pho restaurant. I got The Comet which is Vietnamese coffee with chocolate. I give it a 3/5 because of the price but the drink itself was good, just nothing spectacular. For the regular, it was $7 and the coffee wasn't as strong as it was in the sample. Personally, could have been a bit stronger.

It's very good coffee!!! Taste great. The slight taste of taro was better then I expected. Thank you

Pretty decent Vietnamese coffee, but I came on a super cold day and there was no way I was going to drink iced coffee. I got the Dark Matter hot. The server said they can make almost any of the coffees hot, but she was hesitant when recommending which ones would also be good hot. I think the Dark Matter works and I don't care about the cookies melting. The space looks pretty large in photos, but the seating is limited and only outdoor. Looks like their food options might be good for lunch. I didn't really see any quick small bites. They could do a better job with advertising them if they do have treats and bites.

The bahn mi sandwiches were delicious. I had a breakfast sandwich and my husband had pork belly. Both so so good. The ube nebulae was so fun. Wish I had been in town longer to try more of their other coffee drinks.

Truly spectacular mini donuts, great staff and they sell gallon jugs of excellent Vietnamese iced coffee as well as cold brew. It's about a 5 minute walk from West Oakland Bart opposite the Crucible maker space and well worth the brief detour
