The food here is so good! It's easily my favorite Thai restaurant in the east

Great Thai restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere and service. Some of the dishes are outstanding. The Kha Moo was an excellent dish of Thai meets Chinese influence with meat that just melts in your mouth. The fresh spring rolls appetizer is not to be missed; delicious ingredients served with 2 well contrasting

The food are great and service is good too. Love all the drinks we tried- Lychee Dragonfruit Lemonade &Thai Iced Tea. Only one dish- the pla daek papaya salad was a bit disappointed. It has raw marinade crab on the top, which made the salad very sour and fishy. That's the only dish I and my friends didn't like.

Really disappointed in the Tom yum - the broth barely had any flavor and it was extremely overpriced for what I received ($16). First time trying this place and unfortunately, will not be

We were pleasantly surprised coming here looking for something to eat before Fentons!Food - we got two things, Gang Om Esan with chicken, and Yellow Curry with pork. The Gang Om Esan had a very wholesome feel to its flavor profile, with a strong dill profile. It was fairly spicy but it more like a body spice than a mouthfeel one, I was sweating all over and it was glorious. The Yellow Curry was divine, this was one of the best Thai curry dishes I've ever had. It had such a perfect balance of sweet and savory where one never overpowered the other, but need each other at the same time. The carrots complimented this very well and had a great bite and sweetness to it. They even cut it in cute stars haha which is just an added bonusService - The service was nice, the workers are very kind and attentive.Ambiance - it has this ocean town kind of vibe with great lighting and cut fish light fixtures. The plates were superb with unique designs and it's all plated out when you enter, making it look like a home dining area. 100% recommend this place and if you go, you HAVE to try the yellow curry!

Excellent Thai food. Sauces (the base sauce for the green beans and the hot and sour sauce for the crab fried rice) are somewhat overpowered. Dishes are visually pleasing. Eggs and crabs in the crab fried rice are both plenty in quantity and well cooked, while the rice base is well seasoned. Could have been better if staff are more attentive. Since we were seated outside, no one came to check on us, and no one refilled water. Service feels unwelcoming. The food is very great so kudos to the chefs.

ordered pad thai with chicken. Everything was overcooked, very few vegetables, and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar. I will not return.

Delicious and generous portions! I had the chicken curry. It came with Jasmine rice. Very tender chicken and flavorful sauce. I also tried the fried red snapper with the mango salad. Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend that dish. The fish was prepared perfectly. I am definitely returning to this place. The servers were friendly and checked in constantly to make sure everyone had water and were enjoying their meals.

Amazing food, wonderful service! If you're a Thai fan, I highly suggest you visit. It's also in a fun location with lots of great shops and things to see.

We ordered the green curry and the red curry. My mother and I agreed it was the worst green curry we ever tasted. Could not even eat it even though we where both very hungry. The red curry was not good but edible. The vegetables in the curry where not cooked. The rice was supper dry and tasted like it had been cooked a day ago. Both of our stomachs hurt a bit after the meal.

Just as a disclaimer, I'm not too big on Thai food. This was my first time at Pla Daek, but I loved it. They had many more interesting dishes than I'd seen before (refer to disclaimer), and give me a great opportunity to try something other than Americanized Thai food. All the food we order had a great fragrance and flavor. Everything we ordered was well cooked and tasty. The staff was efficient and pleasant if not overly talkative.I really loved the decorations and decor. The place is well lit with lots of cute lamps and wall paintings without being overly cluttered.I look forward to trying other dishes on future visits.

Food was beautiful, and mostly well made. I got the Khao Soi and the curry part was delicious, perfectly seasoned with great flavor. But unfortunately the chicken was dry and overcooked despite being soaked in the curry, and it tasted funky like it was past it's prime.Vegetarian options: Soy, veggies.

We actually came here for Mother's Day dinner. We had a large party (over 15) and they were able to accommodate us. We ordered way too much food but everything was delicious and service was great. We will definitely return for more of their delicious food.
