Drinks are so unique and different from any bar I’ve ever been to. Don’t sleep on their appetizers because they’re amazing as well.

Been coming here for years and returned after a hiatus. The food is still delicious and so are the cocktails. The aesthetic and atmosphere is fun and alluring.Ordered the Li Hing Melon and Return to Guava Island as well as Salt & Pepper Chicken and Garlic noodles. The food is bomb!Service was great and I even noticed some familiar faces among the staff which is always refreshing. One of the best bars in Oakland and offers immaculate vibes.

Great cocktails but terrible bar. All orders by a clunky unintuitive phone app. Zero interaction with the mixologists. Hope they ditch this. At least they waved when I left.

Fun bar with great food. Cocktails are unique and full of flavor. The staff are quick. Parking available in a parking garage near by or street parking. Good place to come with groups 4 or less. I went by myself and loved the experience. This is a place I would return to for a good drink and food. Be aware the food menu is limited but all of the options sound delicious.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now. It is my go to cocktail bar in Oakland. They have an ever changing cocktail menu that blends asian fruits, spices, and teas into novel drinks. The place is vibrant and always looks great. Staff is friendly and service has been excellent every time I’ve gone. Follow their IG to get updates of pop up events. These pictures are from their dessert chef guest, Chef Vince, during Lunar New Year celebrations.

At the time of this review, Viridian was having their Lunar New Year theme, which is why I finally made plans with my friends to visit Viridian. First off, my friends and I LOVED all the decorations. For the year of the dragon, they decorated the ceilings with paper dragons and had red envelopes all over the venue. We definitely took pictures for the memories! It was crowded on a Saturday night, but the front attendant, Raymond, was very communicative about the wait time. Part of my party got there at 6pm, and we didn't get seated until close to 7pm, but we hung out and ate food at Dave's Hot Chicken two doors down while we waited for Raymond to text me. After we got seated, the staff was very attentive and kind. The cocktails were delicious and thoughtful. I ordered the Lucky Dragon and my friend ordered the Wood Dragon (and got an AWESOME limited edition take-home souvenir). Overall, we had a great night at the Viridian, and if the opportunity presents itself, I would visit again!

First time coming here. I say-I like the vibe. They play my type of music. Not to mention the food. It was good! Bartender is very nice and love the cocktails. The reason why I gave a 4 star is the receptionist comes to move 1 seat to make a space for incoming guests at the bar and she comes again telling me they only give 90 min for us to seat unless we order more". It was a bit annoying to me but understandable- it was packed that night. Will be back.

Can't leave a review for the food because the kitchen was already closed. When you first enter the place it stinks . It smelled like something was spilled and they used a dirty mop to cleaned it and it got smeared everywhere. I know we should had left right then but my friend really wanted to try the place. The guy at the entrance was super welcoming. We sat and couldn't see the menu because we have Androids so they let us use their tablets, another plus for that. When it was time to order the girl took our order but kept skipping my friend. At the end we had to order for him because she wouldn't acknowledge him. My drink was FUNNY! Meaning it was greasy and while in the picture of the menu it had a nice garnish they gave it to me with a single leave of cilantro. That had me laughing the whole night! I couldn't finish the drink since it had oil in it, it was a bit bizarre. Overall the music was good and the place looked good, like Instagram worthy.

Great drinks. Great food. Amazing service. One of the best bars in the Bay Area and it’s located in Oakland.Vegetarian options: They usually have at least one vegetarian option on the menu that changes regularly.Parking: Parking is available on the street.

Been wanting to try this place for some time and finally made it in prior to a late dinner reservation at another location.I asked for recommendations to help speed the process up of picking food/drink. Recommendations were spectacular. Some drinks are sweet so for sure ask before ordering if you prefer a boozier drink.Food arrived slightly before drinks but it was a busy night so didn’t matter. Plus, I loved the casual setup of this bar. Employees know good hospitality and it shows, but it’s not stuffy.I could see it being a really cool first date spot.Overall, drinks and food were excellent. I want to come when I can try more of the menu.Music was also excellent. I felt teleported to another world. For those complaining about the time limit, get over it. Bars/restaurants run on razor thin margins. Turning tables is how profit is made.If you want to camp out, go to a library. Or, better yet, start your night here and then head over to a dive bar where you can camp out all night on $3 beers. This isn’t that place.
