The best Ethiopian food I have ever had!! My friend and I shamelessly ate the entire Shewhat platter to ourselves. No doubt I will be returning with my friends and family. The servers are so kind to explain ingredients in the food since I was concerned about allergies, but was pleasantly surprised that I was able to eat everything! The food came quickly too. We enjoyed sitting in their nice space outside.

Shewhat has great food and great enviornment and ambiance that makes you feel like you have friends sitting at the next table. The staff is super friendly. I went for my 65th birthday celebration and had a great time. The table next to me was celebrating someone's 80th birthday! Thank you Shewhat!

My friends and I stopped by for a weekend dinner, and we instantly loved the ambiance of the outdoor seating area. Ordered Abby's Veggie Combo, which was a great serving size for 2 to 3 people. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, and we all enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend!

I went with my wife and a couple of good friends to try Ethiopian food for the first time in decades. The restaurant is nondescript and easy to miss but it's located on the corner. The young lady who helped us (I presume she's the owner) was helpful and very pleasant. The variety of food was beautifully presented on a huge platter and each item was very tasty. I loved the injeer bread used to scoop up the offerings. For sure, my wife and I will return.

Soooo good. Just go. Take out or dine in you will be happy. I lived down the street too long without going . Now i always crave it. The people are so friendly, portions are generous, flavors are great. Any plate i see i want to try. Chances are the owner will greet you with a smile and personally make sure you're taken care of. I saw that someone else mentioned they wish the injera was packaged separately for takeout, so i requested it. They happily obliged and the food was still hot when i arrived home with it.
Best Eritrean food only topped by the best service in the world? Abby is so sweet and such a hard worker. Loved the atmosphere, even though it was raining the patio was warm and dry. Made us feel so welcomed and even helped me celebrate my birthday!! We will be back again and again!! 5 stars!!!
