The nigiri was pretty good. However, their Tonkatsu was very dry and bland. Their spring rolls also failed to impress.

Pricey (4 rolls = $100) but always great quality, so worth it.

Worst sushi ever. So disgusting I had to spit it out, throw it away and eat cereal instead. Ordered delivery and it took them over an hour and a half to make a few rolls. Super disappointing. Also they sent us the most disgusting looking spring rolls made with obviously very old oil. No thank you.

Ordered delivery at 10pm. Food was excellent, and they even included a complimentary miso soup, salad, and some egg rolls.Delicious food (from what I had) and above and beyond service. Thank you!

I was out walking my dog, and I got this craving for sushi. I had picked up delivery from here before doing Doordash, but never tried it myself. They were sort staffed so I did have to wait a bit. But it was 1000% worth the wait. I got the Lion Princess and the White Dragon. Both delicious. And the sauces on the side took it to another level.

I love the food here! It is the best sushi restaurant around oakland to be honest. Fresh sashimi, delicious variety, great customer service. A family owned business that you won't regret! Love it!

Everyone: this is why it DOES NOT do anyone well to have GOOD food, yet poor customer service. It ruins the dining experience (and any recollection of the food) for all. When I came here years ago, pre-pandemic - they were courteous, kind, and had excellent food/fresh fish. This evening, the main waiter - a younger, Asian male - was dry, rude, and appeared angry when I asked for simple things regarding the service. Case and point: I have a shellfish allergy. Knowingly, many Japanese restaurants, serve separate rolls on the same plate. I asked if I could have my roll on a separate plate due to a crustacean allergy... I was met with huffing and puffing and clear signs of irritation. What would you like your patrons to do? Should I not come here at all because I have a shellfish allergy? That can be arranged. Fast forward to when we were ready to receive the check, we motioned politely toward the same waiter - he looks annoyed, raises his voice at an older, female waitress, likely directing her to assist us. She did. But I tell ya... that's the last of my time, energy, and money that this business will receive.P.S. - I did leave a tip... But they would've received much more than the bare/below bare minimum Had they been more humane. Notice to businesses: it DOES NOT matter how good your food is - if YOU treat humans who have a sense of dignity and esteem like crap....we will not be back! Ciao.

We were pretty disappointed with our meal here. There was loud pop from the early 2000s playing and the ambiance was not fabulous. And then our rolls came out, with ingredients not listed on the menu (apparently the Twin Ladies roll has jalapeños on top, in addition to two sauces, none of which appear on the menu). And when we told the server that we were surprised and wouldn't have ordered a roll with jalapeños or mayonnaise sauce on it, he told us that we should have said something when we ordered. Hmmm... who expects jalapeños to appear on their sushi roll when it's not on the menu? Mayonnaise sauce I *almost* understand, since it's common on sushi. But it should still be listed on the menu. And unfortunately, on top of that, the fish didn't taste great. It was passable, but not worth the price. Will not be going back.

Last night was date night and I wanted to try a sushi spot I hadn't been to yet. Naturally I went on Yelp and I noticed my friend Adriana had left this place a really good review. I trust her taste 100% so that was an easy decision. We arrived and the atmosphere was super low key. It's a small dining area with dim lighting. There is no sushi bar to sit at but I didn't mind that at all. The tables were large booths that could easily fit 6 people. The server was not pushy and let us take our time. They were very kind and ended up providing a complimentary appetizer which was delicious. The menu itself was fairly priced and comparable to most sushi restaurants these days. The fish was extremely fresh and skillfully cut which is honestly rare these days. The rice wasn't caked on so it felt more like traditional sushi. The rolls came out extremely quickly. I was immediately in love! My man LOVED the chicken / salmon teriyaki and his roll. The salmon kama took a bit longer which they warned me and I wasn't surprised since it's essentially bbq'd. To my surprise it came with 2 salmon kamas and they were delicious. Perfectly cooked. I was also impressed with the sweet chili dipping sauce. It had obviously been modified or made in house altogether. I will absolutely be back. This is my new go to. If you're looking for crazy special rolls, I'd say this place is more traditional. But if you're looking for quality, you've found it!

Had a great dinner! Came in late, around 10 pm and they were still so kind and accommodating! The rolls we got were INSANELY good! We will definitely be happy to return. Great service, fresh and delicious sushi, what's not to love?

We were out late and one good thing about this place is that it is open late. I can't eat carbs so my choices were limited. Either some extremely expensive sashimi or a few appetizers. I tried the baked mussels $12 (four small mussels with carb questionable sauce on them) and Scallop and tuna tartar for $14. The one scallop was cut in half. The tuna tarter took up as much room on the plate as the scallop. Don't waste your money

Ok first off you walk in and theres a table and 2 fake trees that blocks your way, and you wonder if they are open for dine in or not. Then you proceed to let them know you'd like to dine in, and then they move the trees for you to enter. It's also super super dark inside, saw another guest pulling out their cell phone flash light to pay the bill.Food. We ordered a variety of items. Rolls, bento box, and udon (but with ramen noodles instead and was $2 up charge). Everything was ok. Nothing spectacular or out the ordinary. OverallFelt pricier than usual. $160 including tip for 3 adults and 1 kid.

Delicious food. Nice service. I do wish they would use less plastic for takeout
