This sandwich made my day. I stopped in and got the chicken pesto sandwich and it was made on the spot for me within a few minutes. Kind and fast service, warm food, and DELICIOUS. Thank you!!

The Chipotle Chicken was very good and I would like to try another sandwich but the service was horrible. There was one employee there and she had no customer service. She screamed at me from a distance and talked a lot with her hands. There are no signs inside the establishment stating what needs to be done when entering the building. There was a table right in front of the door as a barrier so I was confused on if you needed to walk all the way to the counter. The entrance to the counter to the register is like 60ft. They need better signs and communication. I will not be going back. Sierra Deli Market runs circles on this place.

Charges 13 bucks for a sandwich on bread I can buy from Safeway and then doesn't put any aioli or mayo or anything on it. Given them multiple chances but I'm over it. Go anywhere else.

Their door is always closed but yelp says they were open and only take call in order. I called to order breakfast and no one answered. I left a message on their general voice message and no one called me back. I'm not sure if they are still operating or what? I see a sign outside of their door that food pick up is on the side of 15th St.

I went inside ro pick up my doordash pickup order and the lady was very rude when I just asked to pickup my order. She said very rudely " I am talking to a customer. I just gor here so its going to be over 10 min you can cancel or wait!" That is the exact opposite of how I want to be greeted as a paying customer. The food may be good but the service is poor. Who wants to support a Bussiness that won't treat their customers with the bare minimum of respect.

State Side Cafe: Pro: fresh and tasty salads and sandwiches. Con: slightly overpriced, frequent mistakes (provide incorrect item or item missing ingredient), react poorly if a mistake is pointed out.

Wonderful little cafe. Immaculate. Food very fresh and well made. Best chicken noodle soup I have had. Great salads. Definitely recommend.

I was wandering around downtown Oakland for a lunch break, trying to find some place open these days. Stopped here and had a really outstanding pastrami sandwich. Lady running the place was nice and a lot of effort went into the sandwich, whereas most places just put meat on the bread.
