Solid Thai place. I enjoyed the Pad Kee Mao. There's a lovely patio in the back, and it's on a cute street with lots of restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly a food came out quickly.
It was a bit of a wait when i went but the food was worth it. My friends and I got a bunch of different dishes and dessert which was amazing. The atmosphere is nice and quiet so I will definitely be coming back soon :)
Was looking for kao soy or khao soi and was super happy to find it. The curry soup was on the light side of curry flavor but a little lime juice gave it the zest it needed. The chicken leg was super tasty as it was savory with a hint of sweet while still tender. The pineapple fried rice was regular fried rice with a little sweetness. The addition of raisin and pineapple was interesting, but didn't really stand out overall. Will be back to try the salmon pumpkin curry.
Food was delicious! My husband and I tried: - Thai Iced Tea - Roti with Curry - Kao Soy - Basil Chicken with Fried Egg All of them were equally good! Will definitely go back again.
Absolutely delicious, and I have had a LOT of thai food. Great if you are vegetarian. I ordered the pad-see-ew and avocado fresh rolls to go. Everything was fresh, on time and piping hot. I like that they give you the option to make the pad-see-ew spicy. Most restaurants don't give that option and it was a delicious spicy and sweet combo. Would definitely go back and highly recommend! Burma Superstar is usually my go-to, but this is definitely my new favorite!!!
Had the Kao Soy and it was absolutely delicious. Asked for medium spice for my self and hot for my husband and the spice level was spot on. Can't wait to try more dishes from this spot.
Was craving something Thai for lunch and decided to check out this place nearby. Ordered over the phone and requested the pad see ew to be made spicy. Customer service over the phone was excellent and they were able to answer questions I had. I went in to pick up. Customer service at the location could have been better. The girl was on her phone when I walked in and during the checkout. I decided not to tip for lack of attention. The food on the other hand was excellent! The egg rolls were not soaked in oil and were crispy and really good. I'm normally hesitant about oily egg rolls but this is the best egg rolls I've ever had! The pad see ew was amazing as well. They followed through in making it spicy as I requested. I added beef and it was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I think this place cooks in light oil which I appreciate. I didn't feel uncomfortably full or lethargic after my meal. Overall, great experience with the food. Will definitely try it again.
I ordered take-out here for lunch, and got fried chicken and papaya salad. They didn't skimp on the flavors in the meal; it was delicious. The fried chicken was coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. The papaya salad was executed fine. Staff was friendly, during both the in-person order and pickup. I'm reading more reviews, and people are mention items like coconut rice, Thai basil with minced chicken...and I'm drooling. I'm excited to return to this spot in the future and hopefully enjoy the back patio seating, which looks pleasant!
Ok, OK!!!! This Thai restaurant is GREAT from what I've had. Ordered: Thai Iced Tea Tofu basil with vegetables Calamari Roti w/yellow curry dip The iced tea phenomenal! Tofu basil very delicious but i made the mistake of ordering medium spicy because it was too spicy for me. But thank goodness my daughter loves spicy Calamari so tender and very crunchy on the outside. Perfectly seasoned and comes with a dipping sauce that tasted like honey mustard , but went perfectly with the calamari. Roti was light and crispy and chewy tasted wonderful dipped in the yellow curry. #thaifood #thairestaurant #oakland
Thai Basil with minced chicken is a very popular Thai street food. Thai Taste Kitchen makes it perfect. Substitute white rice with coconut rice for the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. String beans, peppers, and onions always come out fresh. You can see all the chefs cooking clean, fresh, and with lots of flavors. Peaceful setting in the back heated patio. Enjoy
Very authentic and delicious. I ordered the curry Thai soup and would definitely get it again.
Delicious! Had the Pad Ke Mao. Perfect, not oily. Flavors burst in your mouth. Good customer service
I never review places but this place was so good and authentic I felt the need to give them 5 stars! Everything we ordered was so delicious! This is my new go to Thai place
The pad thai is the 1st dishes i like to try from a thai restaurant. If that is a failure, I am discouraged to try other dishes. Well, the pad thai taste like ketup.
I had the avocado roll and pad kee mao; both were great. There’s outdoor seating in a nice covered back patio - with heat lamps.
