The bartender at this establishment just does not know how to make the most basic cocktail. The service is meh but do not come here expecting them to make you a drink with out an instruction manual with lots of pictures!

Came in here because I always stay upstairs at the hotel and I've never seen this place open and because it is now open I decided to stop by and I'm so glad I did. The bartender is so sweet and amazing. She said she had never made a margarita before she's a new bar manager, but she made the margarita exactly how I wanted it and she nailed it. It was delicious and i would definitely back just for her. She made the best margarita I've ever had and I'm a bartender of 19 years and I swear she killed it. Samy did her thing #illbebackforher thank you I literally wouldn't come back. If it wasn't for her she is so amazing. The food is not that appetizing, but her service is ultimately the reason I will send my friends here.

I was nervous at first with some of the reviews but the breakfast was excellent. My kids had an omelette and the sticky bun French toast. They loved it and my daughter is picky. I had the short rib hash skillet and it was great, as well.

We needed to have a couple of bloody mary's to cure our hangover. They were tasty. The bartender was nice. We went to the restroom and peeked in their kitchen as it's on the way to the restrooms, and the kitchen looked disorganized and dirty. I probably wouldn't get any food here.

Pros:Beautiful location . Right in front of caffe there Was Christmas tree. Area around is just amazing . Service was great . Manager is super nice . There was fire place outside . Caffe was basicaly empty for dinner time and happy hour . Few people .Cons:Food was not good . Fries half of them were cold. And half were hot . Looked like they mixed yesterday and today Batch. Brussels sprouts were sugary, Cesar salad was too salty. White wine was awful . It was complimentary fromHotel we stayed in but still it doesn’t have to be so bad .There was something strange going with our 20% discount from being Hyatt member. Manager said it’s only for caffe but we are in restaurant . When I asked if it’s the same building he says yea but caffe it’s more for takeOut . I am still bewildered . It says clearly on my account when I booked that we have 20% discount in Waterfront caffe on drinks and food ( my drink was not discounted) . So I am not sure what he meant at all . He finaly gave me this discount . But we felt funny about this explanation .Area outside when we came back in the morning was left very dirty. There were smashed beer cans , papers and leftover of food on a floor .The worst part was that we all , 2 adults and a 2 year old got very upset stomachs . There is no mistake we had it from This place. We ate dinner and next day we were all sick. Terrible cramps and nauseous and diareah .

I would say that the crew here is adorable and friendly! Give them a chance. They are not polished as the interior and menú suggest, but they are good. The breakfast burrito we got could (in my opinion) feed three adults; pancakes were three and can feel again three adults. They served granola on a plate and, in their authentic way, decided not to mix it orLayer it, which I found an interesting way of serving. Their coffee is very good.We had to wait for our order for about 30-35 mins but overall it was an okay experience and the best option we had.So again, give this guys a chance to growth into their business and develop this area into something

Very poor experience with the food. I got the impossible burger and side salad. Somehow the impossible burger was soggy all around and my side salad was nothing to be desired. Service was just okay, but the waitress kept forgetting things and having to come back to clarify our order.

Ordered something I wasn't too sure about and was blown away by how good it was. Service was great, everyone was polite. Music was a bit loud but didn't disrupt the chill vibe. Will definitely eat here again, given the opportunity.

I'm still confused about my visit here. We were staying at the Waterfront Hotel and stopped by so my husband could have a drink and grab something to go and I could get a dessert. Well it was probably one of the weirdest, lackluster experiences I've had. It was pretty empty with only a handful of patrons having cocktails and I think a bite to eat. We were greeted by a host (?) who was friendly and enthusiastic. He said we could order with the bartender and get our stuff to go. When she finally came over she had to ask the kitchen if they had to-go boxes, which I found strange but maybe they ran out. Who knows. She came back and said they had the boxes. We were going to order but she had to first rattle off all the things they didn't have. Unfortunately, what they didn't have was what my husband wanted. The dessert options lacked anything that sounded like it would soothe my sweet tooth. An order was placed for the chicken, which was bartenders suggestion, some truffle fries, a sorbet dessert (eaten there), an old fashioned and a ginger ale. I will say when we looked I didn't check out the prices but figured it couldn't cost more than $50? Wrong I got my bill and it was $110!! I was already annoyed at that point because the waitress brought over a drink my husband didn't ask for then also gave him a mezcal drink? Not sure what was going on with her but nothing was falling into place. Well after we got to the room and checked our boxes, I realized my why my bill was so much...she put in a double order of the food! I never asked for that I specifically said I just wanted a dessert. That's why I think either she doesn't know what she was doing or something else was going on. The chicken was good but didn't get touched because I didn't want to eat it was late and that drink she made my husband didn't go over well. Plus the fries were cooked in nasty old grease and were over cooked. The rice that came with it looked old and greasy. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND FOOD! Massively disappointed in this experience and place. I used to live right in Jack London and was excited to come back. Not a good impression left after this debacle. My two stars is for the chicken which I did taste, it was seasoned well and juicy. And also the host was friendly. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return.

This review is for the cafe which is connected to the restaurant. Got two donuts and an iced coffee and the total was $16 (!) and the iced coffee was only $4, so I paid $5 apc for crappy donuts. What a ripoff!!!

Come nightfall we came here to escape the cold - we made an unfortunate mistake. We ordered a few different drinks. The cucumber gimlet or should I say the lime juice that destroyed our enamel, was acidic and harsh. Was there alcohol or cucumber in this drink? Who knows. Not us. The mai tai was essentially four shots mixed in with some orange juice purée. Thick isn't even enough of a description. Shots have been taken more easily than sipping this drink. The paloma de fuego will only be fuego if they don't run out of jalapeños like they did with me. Otherwise it's not even a paloma it is a club soda with a squeeze of grapefruit juice. The service will be so atrocious that you'll get every at a different time and you'll have to go ask for it at the bar.Plus they'll finger your straw then grab a new one for them to taste it. So unsanitary.Very disappointed and grossed out.
