A restaurant that proves two theories true: that Laotian cuisine is one of the world’s best, and that the tastiest food is almost never the prettiest. A meal to remember many moons from now, for $23.50. Order any of the Lao specialties from the menu’s first page.

This is a cozy little hole in the wall spot for authentic Laotian food. The food is consistent for dine-in and takeout and has great portions for the price. I'm always guaranteed leftovers.I suggest trying the namkhao, gaeng nor mai, and raw beef laab (if you like raw, but cooked beef is available as well).Everything about the place is great, besides the location. It's happens to be in a not so friendly looking location, but don't let that stop you from trying out their food. Get take out and you won't be disappointed.

I noticed this place was near a school I was working at for the day and decided to check it out. I placed my order and wanted to change the pick up to an earlier time so I called. The man on the phone said he could have it in 10 minutes. I was amazed by the great customer service. I arrived in 5 minutes and my order was ready by then. I ordered the Phad Pad Pak, steamed vegetables, and Thai iced tea. I messed up when I ordered it EXTRA Spicy. I love spicy food and thought to myself how spicy could it be. Boy was I wrong. My throat and mouth was on fire! I wanted to cry. The Phad Pad was delicious but I definitely should not have ordered it EXTRA spicy. I could not finish eating it because of how spicy it was lol I had to keep taking breaks from it and it felt like torture. The steamed veggies and Thai tea were also very good. Definitely recommend this place but don't ever order EXTRA Spicy !!!

I have been coming here for well over 15 years. I stopped by a few hours ago and ordered to go. I asked the girl at the register for a cup of water and refused to give me water because I didn't have 20 cents in cash. I couldn't believe what I heard and thought I didn't hear right over her mask. When I asked again if I could please have water somewhat rudely replied with a firm yes, if you have 20 cents. Still can't believe it. This business has a lost a long time, very frequent customer.

The flavors are there but every dish lacks many spices that make them authentic. I also don't like that they don't give you any pepper sauce and you have to pay for them, 6 each! This is ridiculous because pepper sauce is staple for many dish. Also not a friendly place to dine in. You won't ever get a smile from the owner or workers. Service obviously is not very good.Street parking if you can find one, typical of these neighborhoods.

Thank you for staying open during the pandemic. We haven't dine nor ordered in awhile, due to the distance of us being far away; but we ordered today and it was still delicious as how we recalled. We ordered the Nam Kao, Beef Larb, Papaya Salad (Lao Style), Lao Sausage, Sticky rice & Thai iced tea. All in under $50.00! *********04/03/2022********** Today, we ordered the chicken Kao Poon w/Pork blood, Kao Soy & a large Thai Iced tea. We placed the same order before the pandemic, but we didn't recall the taste of their noodles. The Kao Poon was a little "currier" than what we are used to, but there were plenty of chicken meat. The Kao Soy was pretty good; except there were NO meatballs or shrimp (just ground pork)? Kinda took me off guard, but I guess that's how this dish is served here. Bottom line, this will probably the last time we are ordering these two dishes; however, we'll be back to order our "normal" stuff. ************10/11/2023************* We dined in today for lunch. We ordered the beef larb as an appetizer with a side order of sticky rice. Today's order was the L8 with pork and a souped up KaoSoy with meatballs, shrimp & tripe. The larb was tasty and flavorful; did not disappoint at all ??. The L8 was consumed, so I guess it was good ???. The souped up KaoSoy was also very flavorful. The pork meat sauce was thick, but for some odd reasons; it didn't taste as curry as it looked (which made it very good). The extra meat was a plus. I would definitely recommend adding the extra meats if you're a homestyle noodles person. We will be back!

Bad attitude, rude towards black people in his Asian racist Cafe .Never going back to be treated badly and talked to so the cashier/ waitress was extremely rude. (The young girl who wears a ponytail) she was extremely rude and talked to us badly I've never had a waitress speak like she did.

Everything was delicious and authentic. No notes. Big fan of the thicker rice noodles in their style of fresh spring rolls. We ordered the yellow lamb curry. The meat fell apart and wasn’t dry at all, so amazing. Also the red curry fried salmon eggplant dish was delicious. The pieces of salmon were small and varied on dryness/moistness. Still yummy tho
