The carne asada was very tough to chew and the shrimp platter was tasteless. It was as if they just poured stewed tomatoes over the shrimp.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Very quick with service without sacrificing any quality! 10/10 recommend...especially for you Midwestern folks that haven't had good Mexican food. Hard shell tacos with the neighbor's ground beef doesn't count.

Salsa was way too spicy compared to the other Anita's on El Camino. Sour cream enchiladas are delish at El Camino Anita's but here on Coast hey it was very sour and the chicken was dry the rice had no flavor very bland BUT the refried beans were great!!!

This is the ONLY Mexican restaurant we will go to. We are spoiled by them. It's super busy but it's worth the wait to sit down. Grab a margarita from the bar and relax while you wait. The margaritas are so so good and the food is always fresh.

I'm not a person who would usually complain, but I feel this needs addressing. I've been to Anita's many times and I love the food, the waiters and waitress's and they have amazing Margaritas, in fact maybe the best in NCSD. my problem is with the hostess. she took are number and sent us updated information and it looked like we would be sat down very soon. she said 30-45 minutes , granted we showed up at 5:45 and thought by 7pm we would be sitting to eat? but after watching multiple groups being seated, after literally just walking in, not even going to the bar and waiting 60 minutes like we did. I think something is fishy, she's on the take as in either I like you, or you tip me or to bad? 1:15 minutes later we left. Very sorry to say, but this was crap and intentional BS. so ya she definitely is bad for business. the kid helping her was clueless, I'm not blaming him. we're not coming back for quite a while, which is sad because the food is good. get yourself a organized hostess Pissed at the lack of caring, where is a manager here? Are kids running the show? Thursday 2/29 leap year

The drinks are fantastic...love their Cadillac Margaritas! Food is always great! This time the service was terrible...our waitress took far too long to check on us after we received our food and we had to ask twice from other servers to get our check. We also helped ourselves to the to go containers for our leftovers. Other staff were apologizing for the poor service we received.

Best margaritas on the planet. Great service, phenomenal food. I recommend this place a million times to anyone who needs a Mexican restaurant to try. Everything is 10/10 perfect! Good location. Parking might be tricky. But I walk there so it's no problem for me.

Just left from there because the food was so tasteless and disgusting, we got two margaritas and they were watered down. I'm an Oceanside native so I've had plenty of taco shops that taste better and for half the price. We paid $90 for two drinks two plates and chips and dip. Queso dip was runny like water and everything just yuck. But I did take some Good pictures because the food looks good just DOESNT TASTE GOOD
