Del Taco is faux Mexican fast food, thrown together hastily by high school dropouts and ESL immigrants. In the environs of San Diego with all the taco shops, it's really a sad joke. That being said, don't ever go there without coupons in hand that are available in your mailbox almost weekly, and you won't be feel so ripped off by the sh-t food and prep they offer, as long as you're getting BOGO for most everything. Post-April, 2024, now that their unskilled lackeys make $20 an hour, all the prices have skyrocketed to the point of being a little shocking, considering what you get.Kid-friendliness: Sketchy clientele; not kid friendly

I keep giving this place chance after chance after chance. I can’t anymore the food is not good quality at this location, presentation and flavor is just bad. Every time I come like literally every time they forget to give me my cheesecake bites 4.69 for two (small ones).The (small fries) had literally 10-12 fries in there ??? and most were broken burnt pieces.In the day and age of inflation 35$ for subpar food that is missing most of the order is not good for two people to eat dinner. No mas del taco.

Zero stars? Waited few mins at the counter then left, Carls Jr was great cross the street. There was lleaky water all over several employees passed no "be right with you" we were the only people there. Waited 5 mins without acknowledgment then just left.

A decent Del. I've commented about better and worse ones on here before. I've been to this location three times. The first time I said I wanted a soft taco and they didn't ask any questions so I assumed it would be chicken but I got ground beef. The next time I specified chicken and it was good. They don't skimp like some Dels do. They ran out of Med cups but I think that was a lot of Dels because a different one in North Orange County was out of Med also. Med is their Large, for those who don't know.It's not a bad Del and the drive thru has been quick, even with a longer line.

Happy that they repaired the big potholes in the drive thru. These folks serve some great food at a fair price. And so far they have always gotten my order right. And the guacamole here is really good.
I know literally no one will care enough to change, but whatever. The employees who work here are actually incapable of doing simple math or simple overrides to policies that have no point. Ask for something without cheese? No discount, no problem that's normal. But then to be up charged 40¢ to add lettuce. Lettuce. Not organic hand watered sung to arugula. Iceberg. Fork off with that noise.
Do not come to this Del Taco, the drive thru took OVER 45 minutes with only 3 cars in front of me when I pulled in. The staff is unbelievably slow, and clearly management does not care at all to provide better training or more employees to be able to service customers even remotely in a timely manner.

Just had one of the greatest drive through experience from a fast food restaurant. Noel (don’t know if I’m saying it right) was the drive through attendant which showed exemplary work ethic and a great attitude. Definitely don’t mind making the drive to visit this restaurant again.
