I contacted the restaurant to inquire about renting their patio space for a wedding rehearsal with about 30 guests on a Saturday night. The new management team was incredibly friendly and informed me about changes to the menu and restaurant name. The staff was fantastic, and we had ample space for everyone. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! We're eagerly anticipating what the new management has in store for the future.

Food tasted great, but a fish tacos combo for 16.75??? And the beans and rice were literally the smallest serving I've ever had anywhere (a child's size). Definitely pay in cash like they ask to help keep their prices down. Most likely won't be going here again in the future, I don't think it's worth the money.

Went here for the 2nd time, this time on a Monday evening when business was calmer (vs. Friday evening). It took lots of back and forth to place an order, at the window without a menu available. Then the wait was long. I think the total process from pulling at without any other customers in line to receiving the food was at least 15 minutes. Nearly missed the train!The food itself was bland and disappointing.Will not return

Hands down, my FAVORITE spot for Carne asada fries....I will drive out of my way passed 20 other Mexican restaurants...just to get to Diegos. What a dang gem! The food is amazing, service is fast and friendly, everything tastes fresh to order....what more can you ask for?Parking: Big parking lot never an issue to find parking

This place has been on my radar for a long time as an Oceanside great, but my last visit was truly disappointing. We ordered a carnitas plate, Carne asada burrito and 3 rolled tacos with guac. The reasoning behind the poor score was due to the amount of carnitas they gave for a $15 plate. Now I understand it's a decently priced plate considering inflation, but it was literally less than 3 to 4oz of meat total. It's a shame because I use to go to this place all the time, but with them shorting people on portions I would rather go to Delibertos down the road on Mission Ave and get 5 times the amount of meat for the same price. The second star was because Diegos still has great salsas. It's just a shame that our family won't go back to give Diegos another shot especially since I've come to this place for the past 10 years.

I used to come here pretty often. But they have raised their prices so much....it's highway robbery! Tony's is as expensive (if not more expensive) than a nice sit down restaurant. But Tony's is a fast food place with a drive-thru window. My patronage to Tony's is over!!! Way, way, way too expensive!! And there's no excuse to raise prices so much! $16.00 for a stand-alone carne asada quesadilla.....you have got to be kidding me!!
Running a scam on Doordash advertised as "Daydream Burritos". Burrito was not as adverised and was disgusting

I like their food but mostly I like their customer service. I like that they are open again until midnight again. Only a few places on Oceanside are open late. I recommend the potato tacos or the daily specials!
