Take out only right now. Food was pretty good but unfortunately not something I'd return to get again. Nothing overly wowed us EXCEPT the meatball. That was definitely the best meatball I've had in a while.

Half our party were first timers & other had only done take out previously. So glad we came for New Years Eve dinner. All the dishes we tried ( pizza, penne kalamata, pesto tortellini, chicken Alfredo, summer salad, baked ziti, bruschetta-garlic bread with delectable sauce & balsamic gaze) were Italian comfort food to the max! Our group was so pleasantly surprised by the Fallbrook Fratellis label red that we bought 2 half-off bottles to take home. New Years Eve at a good local restaurant would be expected to be crowded and they were down a no show server We had pleasant service but the lobby was packed when we're we're leaving about 6:30. We will definitely return!

I had requested a piece of cake and candle stating it was my husbands Birthday when I made the reservation and No one acknowledged there was we even a birthday. We had gone in and there were 6 booths , 5 which were occupied The 6th one was empty and owner was hesitant to put us there just in case a larger group came in Im guessing . . I would understand if it was packed but there was only 5 Booths and all the tables were empty. We would have felt odd . We hadn't even taken off our coats and the owner asked us if were wanted anything to drink. I m not a fan of being rushed. If I remember correctly I am the one that extended my politeness first by adding him his his Holiday was. He frowned saying that he didn't have any help and he had to work . He didn't know we're in the same boat but didn't let him know that the second we started talking. We made reservations 6 months ago and the he basically said the same thing . I felt bad then . I didn't this time. He needs to lighten his mood for his customers and make them feel like they belong . Six months ago he only had one type of beer 6 months later , still does. The food was sub par. I myself had the chicken piccata which was drenched in oil. Husband had chicken Parmesan . This time it was processed last it was fresh. We're in the food business and this is unacceptable. I ended up leaving a pity tip. That will only go soo far with people. We know Good Italian food and the food the ambiance and the service were all just BLAH ! Christine Carlo

This place is our go-to for Home style italian. We accept the $15 corkage fee and bring our own bottle of wine. The Oceanside summer sald is very flavorful and the pesto dipping sauce and bread are excellent starters. My wife always gets the eggplant parma and I have to get the lasagna. This place never disapoints!

We love the food every time we go to Fratelli's. They had some trouble finding our reservation but finally put us in a nice booth. Our waiter was very thoughtful but oh so busy and it took 20 minutes or more to order our food. He wasn't rushing us but we only had an hour for dinner.

Fratelll's has comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. They have an ample selection of quality food. Some the dishes were lacking a bit of seasoning. Value is great!! I'd definitely return.

Cute spot, great service but the food left much to be desired. We had the chicken Parmesan, fettuccine Alfredo & the meatballs. Best part of the meal was the bread & pesto dipping sauce. Everything looked terrific but was bland. VERY bland.

First time dining here. Had the Kalamata Penne. My dining friend had Chicken Picatta. Both were served nice and hot and were excellent

This is a hardcore Italian restaurant. The atmosphere reminded me of a mix of a New York basement with the European flair California offers. We had a large party and we had some add-ons to our meals. I asked if they could put sausage and bella tomatoes in my chicken alfredo. They had no problem with my request and everything came out perfectly. I marked it as one of my favorites for I will be back.Parking: Open spots available for it is in a plaza.

First time at Fratelli's and wow were we impressed! Busy dinner rush, and the entire staff busted their humps to provide excellent service and delicious food. Meatballs and antipasto salad - along with the complimentary bread served with pesto - pretty much filled us before our pomodoro and lasagna arrived. Authentic flavors and great service - winning combination.

Went for Dinner for my husband's birthday. Made reservations for a corner booth. When my family arrived both booths were occupied, told we could wait for a for a booth to be vacant. Bread was stale, new menu ( no spilt plates, surprised to see that on the menu). The waiter was excellent. No air conditioning. We were all hot and uncomfortable. Not like the old Fratellis. Disappointed

Man, we LOVE eating here! Every time it just feels like coming home. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is outstanding, and the general atmosphere is relaxing and hospitable. This is a true gem of a restaurant, and we're fortunate it's so close to our home.

Pleasantly surprised. A great bottle of pinot and parm chicken, shrimp gluten-free spaghetti, and eggplant. Our waiter was chatty and nice to talk to. He carded my husband and I. Will be back
