The soyrizo and potato tacos were pretty good and the vegetarian torta was awesome. The flan was super good and my friend and I also enjoyed the buñuelos. Great service too!

We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at La Hacienda. It was a great event!! The food was great. The service was great. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We are really glad we were able to have this dinner at La Hacienda.

To be fair, my rating is based on a DoorDash order so I can only speak to flavor. This was our first Mexican food experience while visiting from Tennessee. We had the Al Pastor Tacos which had a red seasoning on the meat and unfortunately lacked flavor. The Churro Cheesecake is regular cheesecake with a drizzle of sauce and a churro placed on top - quite disappointing.

My daughter ordered food through Grubhub...never been so disappointed and even angered by a restaurant. We didn't know whether to laugh or cry when we opened the styrofoam containers....the $20 entrees of carne asada were minuscule. The beans and rice were about 2 tablespoons each and bland and the carne asada had only a few strands of onion and tasted like beef jerky, only without flavor...way over cooked and tasted like it was prepared two days ago. What a RIP-OFF!!! They included a few cold, stale tortillas and just one tiny container of guacamole (only one tablespoon) and 3 tiny containers of flavorless salsa. Between 2 orders of $20/plate carne asada (beef jerky). This establishment is a bad joke and I'm writing this review because I felt compelled to warn my fellow citizens (potential victims), to STAY AWAY from this restaurant that has NO BUSINESS being in business! YOU'RE WELCOME. Addendum: NO STARS.

My family absolutely loves this place. It’s so charming, it’s quiet, a hole in the wall is the best way to describe the place. I don’t understand why they aren’t more busy than they are because its VERY good and reasonably priced. Oceanside has a lot of taco stands but not a lot of Mexican restaurants and this place takes the cake. We’ve been 5ish times and every single one is consistently good and they are so understanding of our toddler. The crispy deep fried potato tacos are so yummy, the chimi is good, my husband’s fajitas were great. The kids meal is even awesome. I can’t say enough good things. I am SO glad we took a chance here.

We had the pleasure of dining at La Hacienda this evening and may I say it was a great experience. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted with kindness and smiles. The owner Wendy was extremely nice and patient with my questions about the menu and gave amazing recommendations. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My children both had the kids plate (asada tacos and sides) my kids are picky eaters and may I say they deeply enjoyed their tacos. My husband and I tried their asada/pastor tacos and they were delicious. Their tortillas were fresh and the meat was tender. We tried the chorizo queso with fresh flour tortillas and it was yummy. My husband had their everything burrito and it was massive and packed with meat. He enjoyed it. I tried the enchiladas suizas. The enchiladas were packed with flavor and the sauce was delicious. Lastly, My children had their churros and loved them. They were warm/ crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We shared the choco flan and by far one of the best choco flans I have had. Their flan is sooo creamy unlike the jello kinds that are served at other places. If you go it is a must try! Overall we loved this restaurant and its homey authentic feel. We will definitely be returning to try their large menu options.

The food here is delicious and they make a killer margarita! Some of the best guacamole in Oceanside. I had the tortilla soup and it was so good. You can sit outside or inside to enjoy this wonderful restaurant!

The breakfast burrito was excellent but the tacos were horrible. I couldn't even bite through the shells bc they were stale...

Sub par food and service. The rice and beans were stale and dry, the others dishes no better for party of 12. Had to keep reminding servers to bring everyone's meals and side dishes. Cannot recommend.
