I never ever write reviews but this is my first time checking this place out and I am beyond impressed. Amazing, good cuts of fish. The best customer service- even though I was tucked away in the back of the restaurant. Will be back plenty more.
Atmosphere is great, great sushi place vibe. Had a wonderful server, very nice. Sushi was good, but the tofu nugget apps were my favorite. Would recommend it, especially for people in groups. They have a seating area for bigger parties, and discounts for groups 6+.

The service was great. The atmosphere was great too. Very calm whilst busy. I enjoyed the food very much. I got the gotta gotta roll and it was yummy. The seaweed salad here is super yummy. I think it had radish in noodle strands in the middle so it was much more refreshing. I enjoyed it.

This is the best hole in the wall sushi place I have been to in Years.!!! It is a little pricy but well worth it. The cuts of fish were old style not this new paper thin style the kids seem to love. The only sown side was the soft shell crab had a bit much "panco" for me. I had no problems accessing the place with my chair, definitely ADA COMPLIANT. MY SUSHI CHEF ( DANIEL) WAS VERY PLEASANT and Saved me a lot of money with his choices. 5 STARS for him.Wheelchair accessibility: No problems COME ON IN

Honestly one of the worst sushi places in San Diego County. The service is awful, it smells weird, and the food is REALLY mediocre. Was incredibly disappointed and will never come back here. If you have no standards for service or quality of the food, you will love this place. For the more discerning sushi lover, this place should be avoided at all costs.

I have an unpleasant experience at this Sushi Restaurant in. Oceanside. we have a dinner on New year day 2024 at this sushi place. A young white male waiter told us to wait for 10 min. He said no table available when there were 5 table available? So we just waited. After 6 min a white family customers arrived and he seated them right away with out letting them wait. Being an Asian I feel unwanted at this sushi restaurant. Is this how a white sushi waiter treat Asian customers?

Has a weird bathroom smell when you walk-in. It was bearable. We were seated quickly and soon after that our waitress came to take our drink order. She brought out our drinks and told us she was going to be right back to take our order after she delivered a drink to another customer. I watched her take the drink order to the other customer then she proceeded to walk around the restaurant doing other things. Then she starts to get the drink order for a different table that had just walked in. At that point we were annoyed and flagged down a waiter to get our order taken. So this person went to go get our original waitress to tell her to take our order. We just decided to leave. Never coming here again, I suggest no one else does either. You’ll get better service and better sushi at Cafe de Thai

Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try the sushi here as the service was poor. We had our server tell us they will take our order after dropping off someone’s drink and proceeded to take care of other things plus take another tables order. Would recommend servers to be attentive and at the minimal communicative with customers as it wasn’t really that busy… also it smelt weird… like cleaning products were masking over an unclean restroom. We neededw up leaving before they could take our order.

The summer roll is a roll with no rice, just 2 types of fish and crab surrounded by cucumbers rings, with 2 sauces and ginger. It is one of the best rolls I've ever had! So fresh!
