This is a less than average k bbq restaurant. They only have all you can eat and it's buffet style. The shrimp is frozen and not cleaned. I don't mind the shell but at least get rid of the poop line! Impossible to clean once cooked. The banchan sides do not seem fresh - the kimchi looked sad. Not much service and they tack on an automatic 20% tip. The sesame balls and fried dough were good. The ice cream station is by the front door - we didn't notice it until we were leaving.

Lunch 3:30 Dinner 4:30...not really! We arrived at 3:25, the freeway had shutdown so everyone was being detoured. Upon arrival, I noted that lunch ends at 3:30 and dinner begins at 4:30. So I asked if we could be seated for lunch. The server told me know that lunch was over, but we could be seated and pay for dinner. So I confirmed that dinner starts at 4:30, she said yes...then I asked if we were going to have to wait for an hour and she said no, we could eat now. So I asked again, why we couldn't have lunch since it wasn't 3:30 but we could have dinner when di ner wasn't until 4:30? She went and got someone else and they said the same thing. No lunch, even though it was within the time but we could start di ner even though that was an hour away??? If they closed down between lunch and dinner, I could understand, but they don't. I took my business elsewhere... too bad they don't understand their business hours are confusing and don't really make any sense. If they had "no lunch seating after 3" that would have made more sense but to have an hour gap and charge me for the higher price when I would be gone by the "time" dinner starts, is ridiculous and sad since we really do like their food.

Oceanside does not have the largest selection of kbbq restaurants, but we found this one in the area and called ahead to see how busy. Luckily, it had no wait and we got seated immediately for a table of 2. As soon as you walk in you can tell it's a big family spot for dinners and lots of big groups with kids were there on a Friday night. Instead of you ordering rounds of meat or sides, you actually go grab it buffet style! I thought this was so fun and interactive and ensured I wasn't wasting anything. Though this is not the most traditional way of having kbbq, I think it was a fun experience and I loved the customization of it all. They have all the classic cuts of meat and seafood, spicy options, and veggies to grill. The meat is all frozen in containers you grab from and are definitely not the greatest quality. After cooking them they were pretty tough and chewy. Other than the basic sides (kimchi, pickled radish, fish cakes, etc.) they had gyoza, miso soup, and sesame balls. I think the funnest thing of the night was their 10 second timer that you try and press to land on exactly 10.00 for a free AYCE next visit. Everyone gets to push it for a chance to win. The service is pretty busy attending to all the tables they do forget about you and paying the check. I think if you want a fun/different experience or just want fast kbbq without the hour long wait this is a good back up but just know the meat isn't going to be the best quality, nor the atmosphere (not trendy or young people if you care for that).

Decent for no wait time. Their popstickers and bulgogi were very good. Everything else is blah

My wife and I just recently discovered this place conveniently located across from Target in El camino, we enjoy Korean bbq but this one is a little different because its a self serve buffet, they have a lot of options in terms if meat, meats are in good quality, they have more than 4 options of sides, soup, and pot stickers, service is too notch everyone was very attentive, we barely waited to have our griller change if needed. The best part is the complimentary ice cream at the end, the vents are a little loud however, it does the job we barely noticed any smokes, the restaurant is clean in general.

Not my favorite but still an ok bbq place for me . Servers are always nice and friendly. It's a self service buffet , but personally I'd rather order from a server , I don't like to always get up . Interior is always neat and clean , the tables are very beautiful, I love their tables . Meat wise , my favorite is the brisket , recommend the pork belly too , not a fan of the chicken , sadly they don't have my husbands favorite which is beef tongue , I never get to try their desserts hopefully I will sometime when I go back . They do have ice cream and I think (maybe ) it's free . Also I love how they have miso soup .

If you don't regularly go into the plaza where this is located you can't tell its there. We've passed by this resto so many times but never tried. We came in on a Saturday, around 4:30 pm and was seated immediately. Place was bright, clean and lots of tables. Its nice that its self serve for everything except for drinks. Pick as much sauce as you want, pick a few meats of different kinds so you have a chance to try them all. Plenty of sides, they also had sesame ball, gyoza and miso soup. Meat quality is good but not the best. Some of the meats were a little tougher than others, we liked the brisket the best out of all. Couple seafood options as well. They also had free ice cream after your meal. They had green tea, strawberry, vanilla and chocolate when we visited. They were very quick to change out grill, you don't even have to ask if they pass by you and they see its dark, they'll change it. We'll come back again, this place. is a good option.

Bland. Not many choices as far as meat selections. Didn't enjoy the experience. Won't be going back.

Impressed with how fast they seat you and have you ready to cook your food. They had a good variety of meat options including octopus and shrimp! Would recommend coming here with a big appetite. Maybe next time my gf will get a free meal from the challenge.

Honestly, this spot is the cleanest of the three KBBQ spots in Oceanside. They have a great selection of meats and sides. Though it is a self-serve location, that aspect makes this place more convenient. You don't have to constantly wait on waiters to bring you additional sides or take additional orders. The restrooms are super clean, and the dining area is bright. The staff is super welcoming and friendly.

I moved to San Diego from the Bay Area about 2 years ago now and this place is the closest I've found to real kbbq. I love the buffet station for getting meat! Sometimes I want to try a new style without getting a whole plate of it and I think it really helps when you're making your own portion size. The staff is friendly and attentive, but seriously I love that I don't need to ask for lettuce or veggies. It's all right there! They don't have as many meat options as other places in the area but I don't think they need them. The meat they have is good and fresh and grills up beautifully. My grill was changed out regularly and there wasn't a smokey smell like a lot of places have that sticks to your clothes. Will definitely be back!

Traveling to San Diego we decided to grab some food to eat. since me and my boyfriend love trying new food we decided to stop by and give it a try! wait time was about an hour but we got seated about 30 minutes in. food was delicious the meats were so good and fresh. options are great and for the price i think it was good too! the service could be better. when we would ask for more items the servers would respond rudely or try to leave before we can even finish. besides that everything was good!

Sat down pretty quickly. Food was not bad, but it felt unsanitary that it was self service because everyone is touching everything. Wouldn't go again. My stomach feels like there is a rock inside. I checked 3-4 times my food was cooked. The burner is very loud compared to Gaja. I recommend Going to Gaja. Higher prices for Gaja, but way more sanitary.
