Visited the San Diego area and we decided we would either have seafood oMexican for lunch.Food - no complaints on any of the dishes we ordered. Personally the Molcajete and seafood platter is the way to go.Service - our server was definitely the star of the show. She was the only one on the floor and took orders from all visitors while running the bar. Appreciate the time she spent going over the options we were interested in.Ambiance - super quiet and family oriented, but I'm sure it's loud/busy on the weekends. Family and I decided this our new spot when in Oceanside.

Fast service and super friendly. Fairly priced entrees and the drinks are absolutely amazing!!!! Had a michelada and a paloma, both were DELICIOUS. Small location within a plaza but definitely worth it. It was my husband’s and I’d first time here but will definitely come back soon. Aguachile on point, as well! Great choice of music and their homemade salsa had great taste. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Nice staff and very tasty food. Got the whole fried fish (Huachinango or Red Snapper) and a type of avocado and shrimp ceviche that is served in the avocado shell. Both were top notch, especially the ceviche. Will definitely return.

Hands down the best Mexican Seafood outside of Mexico. Not your standard Americanized dishes. Everything was very fresh, and super tasty. It was so good I couldn't stop eating! The best beans I've ever had, I was so tempted to ask for their recipe. All of the seafood was perfectly cooked and flavored. The service made the experience even better. Super friendly, she was always checking in to see if we needed anything and made fantastic recommendations. We also LOVED the music and shazammed a few songs while we were eating. We'll 100% be stopping by here every time we head down to San Diego :)

I'm so glad we gave this place a try. I pass by this restaurant all the time. And today my husband and I were craving seafood. So, we gave this place a try. It was exactly what we wanted! I felt we got to this restaurant at a good time (2:40). It wasn't packed. I loved the atmosphere. The music they were playing was good. The food was really good! And super fresh! What we got... I got. CAMARONES BARBONES $20 & the tostada CEVICHE DE CAMARON $10. My husband got the AGUACHILE MANGO $20 and the tostada TOSTADA AGUACHILE $10. Both my husbands dishes were spicy! But good. Nice and fresh and lots of flavor. The Camaron Barbones were amazing!!! Lots of butter and garlic and onion. So good! I asked for it to be not spicy, so they put the green chili sauce on the side. I can't wait to go back and to get it again. My shrimp ceviche was good too. The 2 waitresses working today were super nice and very welcoming. They came to everyone's table making sure if we had everything or if we needed anything. I really like that. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again & recommend it to people.

Awesome aguachile verde!! So yummy and the pulpo taco is delicious too. The verde salsa that lights your mouth on fire is the bomb dot com. Love that the gentleman at the bar thought it was guacamole!!!! Its hot!!!
