The garlic shrimp was disappointing they left the skin of garlic in the cabbage and burnt the garlic. I'm thinking it was shrimp tails after two bites I was wrong!????????. I will not be returning!

I should've read all the reviews before I came here. Zero customer service. The server/cashier named Poonyisa M. was EXTREMELY RUDE, unfriendly and snapped at me for placing an order when she wasn't ready. If I could give them zero star, I would. I will drive to L&L next time. Screw this place.

Go to a real L&L! I will not be going back to Maui Hawaiian BBQ in Oceanside, Ca. This place puts lots of cabbage to make it look like it's a good amount but they skimp on the portions of food. L&L Hawaiian BBQ GIVES BIGGER pieces of meat and the sides are great as well.. you'll get more for your money and the food is amazing.

I ordered the bbq ribs, it came with rice and Mac. The ribs were dry and the rice almost cold. This is the third time this has happened and im not coming back again. The staff seem kinda cold and don't seem happy to work there. The table is a little sticky and can use a good wipe down with degreaser. I question if they even passed an healthy inspection

We called the order in for pick up and it was hot and ready when we arrived. The problem was the food, they are not an authentic hawaiian food. The Katzu was ok but dry. It did come with generous portions for the price and had 2 scoops of white rice and a small container of macaroni salad. The big issue was really the Garlic Shrimp? This was not Garlic Shrimp, this was fried shrimp on a bed of cabbage with scallions and garlic or something grated over the top. This was not Garlic Shrimp and I checked menu for another type of shrimp to see if maybe the order was incorrect. So this place offers nothing special to make you want to come sit in, does not have great food so will be a hard pass. Again staff pleasant, courteous just not good food.

MHB has a great menu with all your traditional favorites. On this visit, I was craving the LocoMoco, which is such great fuel after being on the water early in the morning.The Loco moco is 2 hamburger patties, with eggs cooked your way on top, smothered in a rich brown gravy atop a bed of fluffy white rice, and all topped off with crisp green onions. All the flavors of the islands make for a great breakfast, or, good for anytime of day, to be honest.The meal comes with a side of hawaiian macaroni salad, which is creamy and tangy. If you top it with some Sriracha, it will be lure perfection to eat.I have also had their katsu chicken, their spam musubi, and their ramen, which are all hands down authentic in flavor and cooked just right. To be honest, a strong contender to Ono or L&L

This place has been going down and this last time will be the last time. Went here Saturday with my husband. He ordered the LauLau/Kalua Pork & Cabbage Combo, I ordered a LauLau Combo. What I got was something that looked like a big serving crispy Pork Adobo. We went back to get my LauLau. Pork in both combos was very dry. My husbands Kalua Pork w/Cabbage was a raw bed of cabbage not the "Pork w/cabbage from before. Oh, and the sewer stench from outside is inside as well, kinda covered by the cooking smell. Main item was in a piece of aluminum foil which was strange. On way home we had to stop so that I can throw up. Simply awful.

My family and I have enjoyed many delicious Hawaiian meals here. Recently, we used them for my wife's birthday party. The party trays were very plentiful. Our guests absolutely loved the food (short ribs, BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, spam Misubi, Mac salad, and rice). The service is excellent. We highly recommend Maui Hawaiian BBQ for your Aloha dining and parties.
Food was yummy! We got the Maui combo and BBQ combo, both delicious. Spam musubi was also very good! 10/10 place :

The Mini-Chicken BBQ plate is Huge and Delicious‼ The Musubi is Yummy‼ We moved back from Hawaii in March 2023 and this place is authentic‼ We have found our Hawaiian food spot. We came across this place by accident last weekend and are so happy we did. The service is awesome. True Aloha vibes! Just go try it, you won't be disappointed. Their prices are very affordable especially with all the food you get.

I called in my order ask for no beef!!! Nobody eats it in my house and my kid can't have it. The tray had beef all over the top. I returned (wasting gas) to get my order corrected and all they did was take the beef off the top (I assume). Horrible! My son had a allergic reaction to the beef becuse they didn't do right and make the order again. ?

Food is good , the inside was clean, well kept, they have the sauces being kept cold now which was a nice surprise. Or maybe it was because we got there right when they opened. Just defers a-little from the other spots; L&L/Ohanas however the menu needs to be updated or the manager needs to understand what is being ordered. I had ordered simple items. Simple ... Eggs. Spam. Rice. - item #1BBQ mix combo. - item # 2Im not sure how she was able to mess this order up. Bbq combo was good no complaints. But the spam eggs n rice was not even worth it. She substituted the "spam" for "spam mussubi " for some interesting reason she looked confused placing my order. But told me she was trying to "see how she could do it" Didn't think much of it. Maybe it wasn't in their system. The other spot has a plate called ' spam-eggs&rice- popular plate'. I was really disappointed to find out that she subbed it for the damn musubi. On top of that she gave me old spam from the previous day. You can tell because it was old and hard. Upcharge 11$ for old spam musubi and eggs?? No thank you. Lucky I didn't go back and ask for a refund. If this can be fixed, next time i will increase the star rating.
