So fun to sit and enjoy people watching. We had the braised short rib flat bread and it was delicious. After wards we went for a walk on the pier. Great outing.

We have now been here to eat 4 times and it gets better each time as we try different items. Nightly entertainment and its outside on the patio, perfect! The service is great by the whole staff, kitchen to servers. This time we tried the mussels and WOW they are absolutey great is taste and the sause is fantistic. The bread they give you is perfect for dipping into the sause and there is no fishy smell or taste, these are fresh? I almost forgot to add how many mussels there were in our bowl, more that 25 so we did get our moneys worth! We also ordered the meat flat bread that was spicy and delicious. We are not wine club members but are treated so well and never ever presurred to join the wine club. This is our favorite date night place to go in Oceanside abd it will not dissapoint

My wife and I went to Orfila Vineyards Tasting Room & Kitchen in Oceanside on October 21st. We came to listen to Raynaldo Martine who was playing, whom we enjoy. Was surprised to see that they had anti-fly agitator fans (we have encountered flies at restaurants in Carlsbad also) and blankets for customers to use. My wife and I both had cheese burgers. Although on the menu it says it comes with blue cheese, I asked the waitress I could substitute cheddar cheese instead, to which she agreed. She asked how we wanted them and we said medium. When she bought them to us, THEY WERE MEDIUM. KUDOS TO THE CHEF. They were not pink on the inside and not dried out and leathery, even though they were thicker than your standard burgers. Most chefs(or cooks ) don't understand the meaning of medium. The burgers and frys were delicious. The frys were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, melting in your mouth after that first crunch. The burgers were messy ( maybe that's just me ). Orfila is not stingy with their help. We had two other wait people spontaneously asked to help us besides our assigned wait person. My only disappointment was that they did not have non-alcoholic beer, tonic water, or decaffeinated coffee. My wife enjoyed her wine.

The bread these are served on just melts in your mouth.Definitely a must try if your in the area. We came across this gem while on a Food Tour with Carla and Linda Local Tours...amazing check them out as well. Thanks Chef!!

Love this place! The wine, the atmosphere, great service!! Especially nice when there is music and food trucks! Although they do have a very nice variety of items to purchase in there refrigerators that go nicely with their wine!
I so want to give this higher stars as I love the servers there so much! They are just excellent and the wine club does give you 10 tastes a month, which is amazing. But I've been so disappointed in the food since Covid. They took a few of my favorite things off the menu, (chicken Caesar wrap), raised the prices and made the dishes smaller. I will come for the wine but probably not for the food anymore. Makes me sad as I love so much else!

We stopped in this afternoon for lunch and to pick up our OWL Club wines. My husband and I shared the crispy brussels sprouts and the mushroom flatbread, which were both delicious. Chef Luke took care of us, along with server Victor. Luke shared his method for creating the amazing sprouts, which I will not be making myself, but will definitely be ordering again next time I'm at Orfila! We've had lunch there before and ordered a variety of things, which were all great. But those Brussels sprouts prompted me to write this review.
