This bakery is my family's favorite breakfast spot, they have the yummiest pastries and breakfast. If it's your first time I totally recommend their breakfast burrito or breakfast tacos!

Arrived early in Oceanside for a state cup soccer game. Drove in from Bakersfield, 3 hrs, and wanted to eat breakfast before my daughter's game. Used yelp to find this good breakfast place. Good coffee, french toast, crepes, omelette(would prefer spicier salsa). You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. There was a selection of delicious looking pastries. Yes, would come back.

Here is my explanation for the ratings. 2nd visit ever. Si during my 1st visit I was so super delighted with the super delicious pastries and coffee. So obviously I would be one to return. Well this time I was interested in their food. Thinking that since their pastries were world class i thought their food would be pleasant to the mouth as well.Unfortunately, that couldn't possibly be further from the truth.I ordered a breakfast Burrito they put like a pound of potato hashbrowns the worst possible ingredient ever. To add insult to injury it had very little egg and an extremely stingy low amount of sausage. The Burrito was small and compared to other high quality Burritos very excessively priced. But wait their is more...THE BURRITO WAS WAY TO GREASY!AS SOON AS I pulled it from its wrapping large uncomfortable unhealthy amounts of grease dripped. As if that wasn't the nail in the coffin. The grease ruined my favorite pair of pants. While I wouldn't recommend the food.I will heavenly recommend the amazing pastries.Just avoid their food.

Great bakery. A vast variety of desserts. Must try cheese danish, fresh fruit tart, stuffed French toast and super soft rich cinnamon rolls. We stumbled upon this gem while shopping in Oceanside. Delicious breakfast menu. This is a one stop shop for dessert, brunch, breakfast plus coffee/tea. Average portions. Reasonably priced. Family friendly.

You need to try this at least once, but it won't be your last! The best breakfast taco's w/ bacon and avocado! So delicious!

Cute please with a beautiful pastry counter. Just a few personal preferences made me not give this place a 5. I like my omelets cooked with the toppings rather than made like a taco (items cooked separately and then stuffed in-between the egg).I got the vegetarian omelette. My friend got the ABC omelette and was also just "humm" about it. The pastries looked amazing but half were a little bland. I tried the mouse cup, tiramisu, mixed berry tart and creme brulee. The berry tart and the creme brulee were great, the others not as much.

I ate at the Oceanside Bakery shortly after it opened but for some reason hadn't gotten around to returning until now. Well laid out dining room, lots of light from the many windows. I've heard this place can get busy so I fortunately timed it right and though there were quite a few people eating I was able to walk right up to order. Good selection of items on the menu. I tried the breakfast tacos, without pico de gallo. Their sodas/soft drinks come in cans and they offered a cup of ice before I even had to ask. My tacos were delivered quickly. Overall, the tacos were good. I wasn't a big fan of the tortilla. It was a corn tortilla as expected but it didn't appear warmed or had anything done to it. I compare it to just pulling it out of the bag and adding the ingredients on top of it. I'm sure many people don't mind it that way and it wasn't bad but I guess I was just expecting it to be either warmed or a bit crunchy. I still ate both of them though. I will definitely return to give some of the other menu items a try and will probably grab something from the bakery case in the future. There were some tasty looking items behind the glass.

This is a long overdue review. This is one of my favorite local places. The bakery part is amazing. Every item from the moose, tarts, and pastries are great. You will never be disappointed by a sweet treat. I love their breakfast/lunch menu. My favorites are their stuffed french toast and their spinach blue cheese omelette. You have to grab some pastries and a baguette to go.

I was disappointed. My coffee was made incorrectly. The food was not tasty. I had not been here in years. The food is not the same.
