Good food, cute atmosphere, and a very pleasant gal taking our order. A little wine or beer adds to the meal !

Not authentic and WAY overpriced. If you're from North Dakota, it may suit your palate. For the price of one entire chicken one can buy three (already cooked and tastier!) at Costco. A package of tortillas and jar of salsa at any grocery store will be much less expensive. Yes, no lard in the beans and they are very bland, tasteless....

Went here on a friend's recommendation. 3 of us each got a burrito. Bean and cheese seemed to be all beans. My breakfast burrito tortilla wasn't completely cooked and was cold/raw in some places. The Machaca Burrito was meh. None of them were worth finishing.Salsa was a let down. I got their spicy, wasn't very spicy. The Salsa bar is visible but not being used. They had one lady at the front dealing with orders. Wasn't very personable.

Have eaten here multiple times since moving to Oceanside years ago, and enjoyed it. However the last two times I’ve eaten here I’ve had mistakes on my order and just “meh” food. Tonight we ordered a California burrito, breakfast burrito and two tostadas. We asked to no pico on the California burrito and it had pico. Asked to cheese to be added to one of the tostadas - was charged 80 cents for that and yet no cheese on top. The burritos were not very good. Very middle of the road and felt like they weren’t even filled all the way (folded over a bunch). I think we’re done coming back unfortunately. Hope they improve for others.

Love the tostada grande it's more than 1 meal. The employees are super nice I've been twice in the last week.

First time here & last…worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Ordered a cheese enchilada which was plain and bland. The chile relleno was mostly egg batter and a small pepper. We also ordered chips & salsa, which had no taste. Chips & salsa at Chill’s is way better! I do not recommend. ??

I've noticed a definite change in the quality of food from this restaurant. It used to be one of my favorite go to places for quick and tasty Mexican food. Recently the quality has dropped. The food just isn't as good as it used to be. The prices are still very reasonable and I will still visit occasionally but it's not one of the best quick Mexican food places anymore in my opinion. The service has always been excellent though and that hasn't changed. Decent place for a quick bite!

Have gone here for 15 years and always good quality and healthy portions. Grabbed dinner tonight and totally disappointed. Portions were much smaller and still hungry after what normally would have been satisfying. Not only did they raise prices but then they reduced portions. Not going back.

Place is nice but the service is below average and the food quality is so so. Dont waste your time there are better options around the area.
Service was good but the food gave cafeteria vibes. My husband and I both got the enchiladas and were disappointed it just wasn't authentic at all. 2 stars are for the beer

It's missing an item that comes with the Maria's Combo Chicken Burrito...can you guess what it is? Guacamole! How can you see that!? Well I hope next time you remember for someone else. It's key item for some customers when they order something with sour cream and Guacamole. It was almost a $12 burrito. The employee was nice and polite. The shop was clean and was organized other than that...I have to give you 4 stars.

There was not much effort put into making my food. It felt like my food was just heated up and I definitely could get better mexican food elsewhere. Sad I didn't like it because I actually enjoyed how the place was decorated.
