I just sat in Red Lobster in Oceanside waiting for a dimple hamburger since 12:14 that at 12:58 I finally had to go find the manager as there were literally 5 tables in the entire restaurant and all but 2 had eaten. Instead of apologizing profusely the manager decided he preferred arguing vs making the customer happy. His exact words very rudely said " the hamburger being made" I said for 45 min and no one even in here? He repeated the same thing and debated with me when he sat me. I offered to show him which was 20 min him the 3 texts I wrote and phone call. He could have cared less. The people next to me had to also track down the waitress for their check after waiting 10 min. Last time I was there was horrendous and swore I'd never go back.. This time I mean it. I am still in shock eating a hamburger at a m6ch better restaurant 25 min layer. The worst experience ever, close your doors Red Lobster there's a reason you only had 5 tables during lunch hour.

Currently waiting at the bar , no bartender ! My second time here in the last six months , and it was the same problem ! This place has potential , extremely short handed . Wish they would communicate this before they make you sit and wait ! In addition you can’t order food at the bar , seriously ! New flash , your competitors allow it . Have you heard of Texas road house , Outback , even your sister company Olive Garden allows it ! Only come here if you have abundance of time , and you don’t mind being treated like a second class customer ! Waiting and as you can see lots of empty seats ! Manager , seems to working as the waitress / waiter . Suggestion hire !!!!

Only giving it a 3 star review because of the awesome attitudes of the employees. It was my boyfriends birthday and he chose to come here. We arrived at 7:45 and it was pretty empty. We were told it was a 30 minute wait because they were understaffed. They ended up seating us in 10 minutes because frankly, they were going to practically be closed in 45 minutes. Anyways, every table surrounding us was still dirty from the previous customers- and remained that way until we left. The food was nothing special. The best part of the meal was the coconut shrimp- by far the best. We both got the surf and turf dinner. Our meal was $125 but definitely not worth it. My boyfriends Long Island Iced Tea was so strong he couldn't even drink it. Employees came and sang him happy birthday and that was pretty cool- but the rest of the dinner was far from special. In the past, we had come here several times and enjoyed every one of them. Just disappointed this last visit.

The place smelled old/moisture. We ordered mussles they were fine, tasty. The other dishes took a while to be delireved to us (more than 20 mins), clam chowder was great, and th other ones were OK. The cutlery was dirty, so my conclusion is that they need to renovate the restaurant (looks old) and be more careful with the cutlery.

I had a time reserved through next door, however the hostess told me it was the only table available was in the bar area and not the dining room. Other parties of two were waiting also and they were seated in the dining room. We don't drink usually alcoholic beverages in the future I will request a table in the dining room under "special requests". Our server was very pleasant. She created us immediately with hot biscuits. Food came out so quickly, that we hadn't yet finished our salads. She was knowledgeable of the secret reward member menu specials and how the rewards worked. The food was fresh and tasty.

The customer service was so slow. Had to keep asking for our food. Never got one of our orders so they had to refund it. Ordered steak mid rare, over cooked and the smallest peace of steak. Also the chicken tasted like fish. Do not recommend. I definitely over paid for my experience tonight.

Today for my little brothers Birthday we decided to come here, while visiting in town. Sophie was our server and has been beyond attentive. All the staff at this location is super friendly. I definitely want to come back to this location the next time we are in town. Keep up the amazing work to our server!

Came for lunch and arrived just as they opened. Was seated in the bar area. Not really satisfied with that ambience, but sure glad we did. Had the best server of my life and I'm over 60! Jacob is what other servers should strive to be. He is the best. So friendly and caring. Our whole meal experience was so much more pleasurable. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, making our lunch meal so much better! The food was hot and very delicious. Definitely a location I will visit again!!

Well at least i didn't wIit 40 min for a table!:First impression ,,, dirty ripped menus....Christina was my server, only asked if I wanted water,I wanted to know more about signature drinks. The rolls were old and hard,no wet nap ,so i had to use my friend's water to clean my fingers...I never got my broccoli. I had to use my fork to open the crab legs I asked for the usual tool but she said "well I gave you the cracker" my bake potato was so old and dry I couldn't even eat it.What happened to this corporate restaurant? Does no one offer good service anymore? Sorry won't be back ,,,so sad

Tonight we had the best experience at Red Lobster in Carlsbad! All due to our Waitress Wendi, she went above and beyond to make us three, feel like we were home. She was very attentive during a very busy time tonight. She made great suggestions and provide world class service! Thank you Wendi, we'll be back and ask for you personall.

The wait staff is so sweet and kind, the food is okay. I had a problem with the manager. I went out to dinner with my family a couple days ago. We were having a great time, my kids loved the lobster tank. Our waiter was so nice (I feel horrible for not remembering his name, I think it was Patrick) he was sweet with my kids when they ordered kinda quietly and he was quick with drinks and let us know that the cheesy biscuits were taking a bit longer than usual. I took a few bites of my dinner and it was so good, that was until I hit a bone. Okay, no biggie. I just slipped the bone out of my mouth and took another bite. Weird, but down on another small rib bone. I got two small filets of salmon in my order but halfway through the first filet I bit into five bones. They were small bones, flexible but on the sixth one I could feel it lodged in my throat. It has happened to me before so I went to the bathroom and tried to discreetly cough it up but it wasn't enough. I went back to the table and ate a leftover biscuit. When the waiter came back to check on us, I told him I had some bones and he apologized and said he'd get the manager. She came by about 15 minutes later, I didn't catch her name and the lighting in the restaurant is kind of like a Hollister store and casts a lot of shadows so I couldn't read her badge. I told her that I bit into several bones and accidentally swallowed one. "And what would you like me to do about this?" "Id like a refund please." "Our salmon does not have any bones" "Is it not real salmon?" "What?" "Is this a fake fish?" "No it's real salmon." "Then there are bones in it, I'm not mad I just would like my money back." She gave me a customer service smile and took the plate away. They did give me a refund and by that time my family was done eating, so we decided to head home after dessert for the kids. I'm not bitter but I mean....salmon is a real fish right? Like the way she spoke to me just made me feel like I was the d*** customer who ordered something she didn't know. I know there's bones in salmon, you can raise salmon but you can't make them like seedless grapes. Fish need bones I survive you can't raise a salmon with no bones. And even if you de-bone a fish, they will always be those weird little half broken bones in there. That's just life when you eat fish that doesn't come in fish stick form. It was just a really odd interaction and I don't know how I feel about it.
