Had a great family Thanksgiving dinner! I expected good food but it was better than usual. We always enjoy at least one hmeal per holiday as I don't cook as much anymore. The MG cooks from scratch and our turkey dinner was great! We'll be back during Christmas too with our visiting family members and friends.

All of the Romanos in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas have closed. Glad to see one here, I still have balance on my gift cards therefore dropped by and ordered calamari for the road, surprised to find peasant bread included with the calamari! The server was nice and patient to manually key in my gift cards

Walked in and walked right back out. Smelled like sewage in there. Lost my appetite. It's a Friday night at 5 pm, saw one family in there, the rest vacant. It appears as if others feel the same. The lovely girl at the front was sweet and kind and has no bearing on this review.

There was only one waiter waiting 6 tables he was doing his best however we had a long wait for our food, drinks etc. there were other staff members but while this gentleman waited the tables there were 2 staff members cleaning 1 table instead of jumping in and helping this poor man. The staff needs to do better working as a team to serve their customers in a timely manner.

Yum! Just had the new San Marino Chicken and Shrimp. The sauce is delicious. (Already started eating it and then thought to take the photo.) Great sides of grilled asparagus and broccolini. We came in hungry and ordered the buttered mashed potatoes too! Cocktails are not over priced and free bread(!) completed our meal. Great friendly service too. We will definitely recommend and come back soon.

What a fantastic meal with hospitable, welcoming and energetic humans! This was such a fun meal after not eating out much during covid. Corey made one of most delicious old fashioneds I have ever had, complete with orange rind on the rim of the glass, what a good job making this drink! Xavier took our order and was patient with us while we figured out exactly what we wanted and was genuinely excited with us when we got it all figured out.

I've been a fan of macaroni grill since the mid 90s, it's hard to find one since most have closed. Was excited to see one open. My favorite has been the chicken scalopini. The worst ever. Tasted like pressed chicken rather than the grilled chicken breast. The bread was hard and dry. Very skimpy with the olive oil. Felt like they threw quality out the window. The staff was great. But I can see why their on their way out. Very disappointed.. goodbye Romanos macaroni grill. It was nice knowing you

QUICK NOTE: I really don't understand why anyone even takes the time to write a bad review based on this restaurant being short-staffed. Every restaurant I go to nowadays has hiring signs for all positions. It doesn't seem like anybody wants to work, especially in hospitality where people are so quick to nit-pick your every move. Aside from that, my experience was absolutely great. I see that the hosts are responsible for cleaning tables so I don't expect them to be everywhere at once. I usually opt for the bar area which is open seating. The bartender Corey was so friendly and even acknowledged the people picking up to-go's and greeted anyone he saw standing at the host stand. I usually get the house white wine and my favorite dish, the Truffle Mac and Cheese. The menu changes often, but even when I ask for items no longer on the menu, the managers always take care of me! The hospitality of the workers here is unmatched and never fails to make me feel welcome!
