Sam’s donuts have the best Apple fritters and cinnamon rolls around this area!! We tried others in Oceanside and nothing compares!! We’ve been coming here since 2010. We had moved to Texas back in 2018 and couldn’t find Apple fritters like Sam’s Donuts!! We were very disappointed! We have came back to Oceanside and very happy that we did bc now we’re enjoying our Apple fritters from Sam’s Donuts again! Love love love my Apple fritters from Sam’s Donuts!!❤️❤️?

My new favorite local donut spot! I have doordashed Sam's to us multiple times now and can't order from anyone else. The donut holes are DIVINE and the apple fritter is from another WORLD! The fritter is so crispy and sweet and perfectly fried and glazed. My boyfriend LOVES the crème filled donut and it's now a staple for our weekends. Thank you for providing us with deliciously tasty treats! FIVE GLOWING STARS! (If I could give more I would!)

My wife and I visited and got some raspberry filled donuts and GAWD DAMN were they dry and stale. Them bitches tasted like ashy elbows. Also the guy I was talking to was so hard to understand half the time he was speaking gibberish. My wife literally threatened to divorce me if I took her someplace bad like that again. Almost cost me my marriage.

The owners are complete jerjd! I purchased a dozen donuts from them and came back into the shop to get out of the rain and the man started screaming at me to get out of the shop, that seating is for customers only!!! I'm happy to go to the donut shop 2 miles down the road in order to avoid this one from now on. Extremely disappointing considering I've been coming here for over 10 years!!! Sorry but Sams is no longer on the map for me!

Also, Cronuts are served here. I had noticed that they had a poster advertising that croissants were made and served here. "Do you have a cronut?", I asked. The clerk/owner/donut maker dude pointed inside the very modest selection of baked goods behind the counter. 10am on this Friday and there was a dwindling assortment of the various baked goods. "I'll have one of those, one of those and one of those", as I pointed to some of my old time favorites. "Let me try one of your cronuts too", pointing now to the donut-shaped, layered and glazed croissant. Nothing too special on the appearance, but being the second cronut I have sampled, I find it to be superior to the others that I had before elsewhere. Layers upon layers that just pulled apart like pulling apart a croissant . . . just with an edge of glaze. "Awesome". So we get in the car to drive off and begin to sample our breakfast treats and we find that the owner/server had put 3 or 4 regular donut holes in each of the bags as well. Those seemed to make our visit that much more special. The donuts and other treats here made our morning. We are going to have to remember this place. Dicks

LOVE their doughnuts!!! The staff was so kind and helpful in picking some items. The buttermilk doughnuts, cinnamon crumble, and Boston cream were amazing. I'll be back and I'm sure my family will be too.

Looked up donut places saw they had gotten a four star. I had gotten two dozen donuts for my Physical therapist place. The donuts were well received & I was ask where I got them so I passed the info so I think that was a good sign they were good. Service quick and kind. Thank you Sam's donuts and staff.

This is my first online order with Sam’s Donut Shop on the Door Dash App. I ordered the Ham and Swiss Cheese Bagel Sandwich. The price was $7.00. Then I ordered 5 Assorted Donuts. These donuts were One Creme Cheese Croissant, One Blueberry Croissant, One Lemon Jelly Donut, One Maple Bar and one Chocolate Covered Round Donut. The total cost I spent was $22.87. This Ham and Swiss Cheese Bagel was very delicious. These 5 assorted donuts were also really yummy.

These two half size donuts the Blueberry Croissant and the Lemon Jelly Donuts are leftovers from my online Door Dash order. I had the chance to eat and to finish them this morning for my breakfast. Both of these donuts still taste really good even when I have re-heated them in my microwave oven today. I always tell myself that Moderation is the key to be able to eat a sweet donut once in a while. Sam's Donut Shop has a really delicious assortment of donuts.

Only place in Oceanside that’s truly authentic donuts. Donuts are always fresh, the sandwiches are always delicious as well, and for a quick boba fix, they got that too. Never had one bad visit here. Frequent doordash customer of Sam’s. Absolutely love it.
