A good morning when you start your day at this local breakfast spot. This is my third visit and haven't been disappointed. I truly enjoy this establishment for the home vibe to the bloody Mary's. No alcohol today but I highly recommend their drinks. Today I enjoyed a Denver omelette with hash browns. By far the best in town, large portions, and very fluffy. The dinning room was bouncing with conversations and everyone seems happy and content. Today's service as always was professional and attentive! An Oceanside staple, I highly recommend a visit.

Nice older style breakfast and lunch! Their biscuits are huge and delcious!. For an omelet w/avacado, fresh fruit biscuit and coffee about $21 b4 the tip. Been here a few times while waiting on tire repair or exchange at Discount Tire across the street. All the workers/cooks are amazing as

Came here with my boyfriend to try out yet another brunch spot. I had my go-to chilaquiles (red) and he had the chorizo burrito. They ended up not being my favorite chilaquiles with way too much cheese though he enjoyed his burrito. We finished with a slice of blueberry pie a la mode. The pie was tasty but the ice cream had crystals as if it had been sitting for a while. Very friendly place with multiple servers who stopped by to check on our water and if we needed anything more.

Excellent experience all around. Not like those hip new pretentious overly health conscious breakfast places that are popping up everywhere and as a result the prices are kept nice and low. The only downside is I wish I lived closer! Would you possibly expand to the San Marcos area?

Old school pizza people are friendly service was terrible didn't have what I wanted on my pizza even though it was on the menu had to Clean my own table other tables were also dirty he sat behind counter on his phone

An okay greasy spoon diner in Oceanside. Family run. We always order takeout - my go to is the chicken fried steak, which comes with hash browns and toast. Was not a fan of the eggs Benedict, as the quality wasn't quite there and the hollandaise didn't taste fresh nor homemade. I also order a side of kielbasa, which is tasty.

Yum!! This is the absolute best breakfast I have had in a long time hands down. Large portion, delicious food, great service, awesome experience. Definitely recommend.
Came for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The restaurant wasn't full so we were seated right away. The service was excellent. The food was served hot and fresh and tasted delicious...except for the gravy. I love biscuits and gravy but I'm very particular. The gravy at Start Fresh Cafe had a weird/off flavor. It was thick and rich and creamy like gravy should be but the flavor wasn't right. If you're not a gravy person then I highly recommend Start Fresh. Everything else...bacon, eggs and hashbrowns were excellent.

Great chilaquiles! Traditional not too spicy. It's hard to find chilaquiles that are traditionally made so I appreciate that this location makes them that way and that they are really good. The restaurant is cozy and smells like fresh baked goods. I ordered pick up and the person helping me was very attentive and considerate. Will be back!

All of the staff made us feel welcomed and valued! The vibe was homey and relaxing and we loved the decor, as well as how open and sunny the restaurant was. Brunch was DELICIOUS and there were so many options (I knew I couldn't really go wrong). Our waitress, Bibi, gave some recommendations and knew the menu perfectly. We also loved the menu design! It was gorgeous and just made the vibe even that much better!
