We love the rooftop bar! It's become our favorite spot to bring folks from out of town for a small bite, a delicious cocktail and the best views of Oceanside. This rooftop bar looks over the pier and usually has spectacular sunsets. There's often a DJ making it a fun place to go for an evening -- the music is usually like a Buddha bar (longe electrica), nothing too crazy or poralizing or that you wouldn't wanna bring grandma too :). The cocktails are great and are named after local beaches & surf spots. The small plates are a little pricey but delicious and great snacks with your cocktail. The whole hotel is pet friendly so we bring Leo with us from time to time.

Very cool rooftop bar with great views. The charcuterie plate I had was tiny and pricy but decadent. Only reason for 4 stars is it was packed, had to wait a long time for a table, and service was pretty slow.

The food is nothing out of the ordinary. The service was ok, but nothing special either. The ambiance was 10/10- beautiful scenery. What I take extreme offense to is being charged for something I didn't purchase or agree to. I call it thievery and dishonest. No matter if it's $100 or 1. I was hit with a 6% "Surcharge" with no explanation as to why, other than "for the high cost of things" -what the hell is that! What if customers suddenly start saying "I am deducting 6% because I am applying an "undercharge." Great rooftop restaurant, but even so, owned and ran by rats! No matter how you slice it, I was ripped off and so will you! We can't just eat this kind of BS.

I came here with a friend I hadn't seen in a while and it was absolutely perfect! The drinks were amazing and the feta dip was perfect. We sat right next to a view of the pier at night. The service was great and the music was loud, but not too loud to have a good conversation. I will definitely come again!

We've been back a few times since my last review. The food and drinks are good, but I still find the whole place overpriced. Service has been great each time. Ambiance is a little chaotic, but it is a hotel. There is only one small spot to see the sunset directly if you aren't a hotel guest (guests are allowed into the pool area, which has a great view). It would be nice if non-guests were allowed into the area to watch the sunset, especially on weeknights and in winter when the pool and hotel are largely empty.

I love the vibe in terms of the view and atmosphere. Staff is nice however uneducated in food and drinks, meaning there is no balance to experience. I asked the server how the bone marrow was and had no idea of qualify. Do not order the bone marrow! Disappointed. Price point value is upsetting when they don't deliver quality,
