My boyfriend and I went to dinner here to celebrate an anniversary tonight. The server was awesome, super friendly and kind. The Brussels were to die for and the sushi tasted fresh out of the sea. The dessert was amazing and overall great experience. My only complaint was my boyfriend ate more then half our dessert!

I was super hyped to eat here as I've always seen a lot of people out front on the patio. The night I decide to come in my boyfriend and I and the ENTIRE patio saw a massive rat climb on the wall by where guests were eating. Everyone's jaw dropped as the rat was munching on their dead fish "decor" that is hanging on the wall along the entire patio space. The patio is extremely dirty with garden hoses & mops showing all over the area. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the patio vibe & we are outdoors, but I have NEVER seen a rat at a restaurant in my entire life. The rest of the customers put their feet up outside & continued to "enjoy" their dinner. We politely asked the host if we could sit in inside after seeing that but all the food came out & we just wanted the quickest exit strategy at that point. The host asked us if the food was at least good, and I wanted to answer honestly and say yes, but it's difficult for me to enjoy when there a rat around. If there's a rat in their patio space, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Suggestions for later: Dead fish & bird decor, GOTTA GO. It's F****** gross while eating. Secondly, there's no reason patrons should be eating staring at an upside mop on the wall by the entry way of where you're delivering food. Thirdly, get a rat trap & clean the patio ASAP. Oh also, host/server didn't even bother to offer a discount or take the food off that my boyfriend clearly couldn't eat after seeing the rat. We definitely will not be returning :/

Hey! I'm back! I haven't visited recently. I just keep thinking about this place because my original review was written out of ignorance lol. Since then I've opened my own counter service restaurant with similar procedures. So I understand the tip situation now. Lol. If I make it back down to so cal I'll have to try it again. I do remember being disappointed in the flavor of the ramen so I still stand by that. Menus change and people change too. So we will see!

I love this place usually it's really good. I always get the same thing sweet sour tofu with extra veggies and sauce. The last few times I've ordered online it hasn't been that great and they haven't put any extra sauce o any sauce on the tofu witch is frustrating. It use to be so beautiful and whoever cooks it now doesn't care about there work. I hope it become good again.

So good. I could live off the vegan ramen and I'm not vegan at all. The sushi is delicious. They're specials are always good. The vibe is nice and feels like you're in Portland (in a good way).

Great service! This was our first Raman restaurant and we loved it. The stone soup was excellent - especially with the add-ons. The kids even loved it. The restaurant is very comfortable with nice outdoor seating.

Poor service! Rayan (not sure of the spelling since she didn't have a card) supposedly the manager was very unprofessional and unorganized. When i asked her why she offered some seats to another couple when we had arrived first. She lied and stated they came first even after I heard the entire conversation. She acted like a snotty child. If this is the restaurants management then this restaurant has a lot to learn!!

The Chronic Sushi Roll is amazing and so is the Hawaiian Roll! My wife and I were visiting from Arizona which doesn't have a lot of vegan restaurants, so this place was a real treat for us. Our server spent a lot of extra time going through the menu with us which was really refreshing! Would definitely go back!
Best ramen spots in oside! My personal favorite is the duck on duck ramen! Just soooo effing good! 11/10 I recommend to try this spot! ♥️

It's neat Oceanside is becoming a sort of centre for hipster (healthy) food. Whet Noodle is a nice addition. Firstly, I gotta say the customer service is exceptional here. We arrived on a busy weekend night yet the staff were helpful and sort of had a zen feel to them. Hard to explain. . . The workers just seemed down to earth. I recommend: La Paz Kampachi : kampachi is one of my fave fishes to sashimi so I always snag a chance to try a restaurant's version when I see the offer in the menu. The fish was fresh indeed. Hangry Vegan: such a feast for the eyes and tastebuds! I am not usually a fan of tofu, but Whet Noodle is an exception to this. I think they make the tofu in-house? Whet Noodle also grills the tofu so that the edges are charred flavor fully. However, I thought the noodles were gluten free because the menu stated they were spinach noodles. I should have asked beforehand because my stomach was not happy about the noodles. Cloud Nigori sake: it is sweet so go slow so you don't get hit too hard from this alcohol. Holiday in Cambodia: isn't this a song? Anyways, this is one of the most creative sushi rolls I have seen in California. I thought it was interesting to use fish roll in a roll. For those unaccustomed to fish sauce, I do not recommend this role as the fish sauce is truly pungent. I like how they used white fish to go with the fish sauce, but I am unsure what to think of the strong spicy tuna against the pungent fish sauce flavor. Patrick the great: appreciated the crispness of the sweet potatoes in the roll.

I crave the vegan ramen and roasted cauliflower from here, almost daily. Has become one of my favorite restaurants! Also has a super nice atmosphere and in a great area.
