We had breakfast here - full buffet. The options were good and mostly fresh (sometimes pastries were a bit stale, maybe our late morning breakfast). Cereal bar, porridge station, dumplings, pastries. There were 4 hot items: fried rice, bacon, potatoes, waffles/pancakes. There's also an omelette station. Overall pretty decent, food tasted pretty average, but good selection. Service was net neutral for us. One day we had a great server who was very attentive, and the next day we had someone who didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Came by to get us drinks once and the next time was to ask if we were ready for the bill. The restaurant itself has great views situated at the corner of a building. Try to get seated next to the window.

This is about the worst Thanksgiving meal I’ve ever had. The $90++ buffet looks good on paper, but the quality of food was horrible. The turkey was dry, the beef over cooked, pasta was soggy and the oysters were very fishy. Everything tasted like it’s only seasoned with salt and no other flavors. When we’re about to leave, it took another 30 minutes to get the waiter the attention to get our check. Not many restaurants were open on Thanksgiving day in the area, I guess, but we would’ve prefered cup noodles over this outrageously overpriced buffet that left us so upsetting. Also, the seatings were so crowded we could barely get to buffet table, not to mention the air circulation was very bad.

Solid buffet in Tahoe for the value. Omelette bar that also do sandwiches. They have pancakes and waffles to order as well. Bagels, bread, pastries galore! Solid selection of breakfast foods, but limited on fruit and we pulled a peach that had mold on it .... When we told one of the servers he just said okay and didn't grab the rest of the peaches or anything ... that was off putting and why they only get a 4. Nice views if you get sat by the window.

Located within the Resort at Squaw Creek, (now called the Everline Resort & Spa) Cascades is where to go for breakfast every morning. The buffet is absolutely amazing. It's actually one of the best breakfast buffets that I've ever seen. They even have a bloody mary bar, which is pretty unique. In any event, I highly recommend the breakfast here.

We spent my husband Devin's birthday at Resort at Squaw creek and enjoyed a tasty breakfast at Cascades. There was a great selection of delicious food and the views were amazing! The hosting staff, the lady and gentlemen were wonderful and made our dining experience special. I didn't get their names but it was the morning of 10/25. Much thanks to them for their kindness and for all their great attention. We really appreciate them and am looking forward to our next trip.
I've enjoyed many breakfast meals over the years at Cascades. On September 10, 2022, many of our wedding guests, as well as myself, enjoyed a delicious and leisurely buffet breakfast. The array of selections, quality and quantity of food was excellent. In addition, the servers are so friendly and attentive. Many of them have been there for years and feel like old friends when I am visiting. Many thanks to Heidi, Nancy, Jon and the whole team for a great experience. Hope to see you again soon!
