I have been coming to Salpicón for a few years now and in those years, their pupusas have been consistent in great taste and texture. If you're in the mood for pupusas, this is your spot! 99% of my orders have been "to-go" but they pack them well enough that when I arrive home, they're still hot enough to enjoy! The staff has always been polite and efficient too.

There are 2 eateries I indulge in bulk to-go orders when I'm in the area. I recently stopped by Ontario and called my order in for their 10 pupusas to go special and 4 tamales. You get to pick 3 ingredients. I picked out a few bean & cheese with chicken and a few with pork, and tried a couple with mushroom, cheese & jalapeno. The pupusas here are hefty which I like and the curtido is perfectly crunchy & seasoned. I prefer their curtido over other places and am always happy they pack a generous amount of it. The ladies are friendly and courteous. Salpicon is located in a busy shopping center and parking can be challenging.

We really like this place, it does take a while for your order to come out so we suggest calling ahead and ordering. Every plate we've had has been pretty good. The pupusas are good, the carne encebollada is good and their juices are good too. It's a small restaurant but their food is good.

Waitress have a bad attitude! ‍ Foods ok, nothing to brag about. I have had way better food at other restaurants.

Very bad food quality and over priced. Won’t go back again.

Their pupusas are the best in town. I don't go anywhere else for them but here. Been faithfully going here for years

Delicious pupusas. They take a long time, but only because they are made to order, but I really enjoy coming here when I'm craving pupusas. You can always order by phone .

Took my wife on her birthday to El Salpicon, ordered food “pupusas” and were all extremely burned, the cook tried to hide the burn & turned upside down but still found the nasty burned part on all the guests invited

This has been one of the worst salvadorean food I’ve had… 1st of the pupusas weren’t great, you can see the chicharrón shredded the cheese wasn’t that cheesy the mesera got me the wrong order and brought a plastic cup with crean (for my tamales)that looked like it been seating there for a long time. Never coming back here again and is not cheap..

Everything that is utilized feels like picnicking cutlery. The food didn't taste authentic salvadorian..missing the right flavor even on beans. Xpensive and not enough people for service.

Oh my goodness. This place is amazing. You know the place is good when you have your first bite and need to take a minute to process the goodness. I came in wanting to try pupusas, and oh my God. They are absolutely delicious. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service. Highly recommend!

We love coming to this restaurant the food is delicious and the portions are reasonable for the price. The pupusas are so good here they have regular masa and rice masa (de arroz y de harina) the salsa is delicious they have two kinds one is a little more spicy both very tasty and the curtido is always fresh and delicious. The pupusas are not oily at all unlike other places where they are drenched in oil. Their aguas frescas are so refreshing and freshly made daily none of that fountain machine drinks here they have Maracuya, horchata, Nance, Ensalada, Tamarindo . Their Platos típicos are good portioned and we love the desayuno plate and the pan con pollo. They sell fresh pastries we always buy semita de piña to have with coffee or atole de elote which they sell here too and I really like it. Highly recommend this restaurant for your next date night or family outing!
