Went there after reading reviews on yelp! Was not disappointed! Probably the best Chinese food we've had in the OC! Yes place is small and ambiance may not be over the top... pretty basic and very small. But, Food is the star here! Plus the staff who all look like family members interact with customers by first name! So lots of regulars! Aromatic chicken and war wonton soup were recommended and were spot on delicious! Would def recommend if looking for great food but with very casual experience! Amd prices were very reasonable, portions were generous as well.

We have been going to Chens for over 10 years. Daniel and his family are the best. The food is delicious and more than enough to eat. I am so glad they made it through the rough 2020's. Now the community needs to get out and support our small family business's. Wonderful!!!!

I went to Chen's last night by myself. A waitress came out, walked right past me to others. Then a party came in and sat down at a table near me. Of course the waitress went straight to them. Not cool! Chen's, you are oblivious to single diners and treat them terribly. I haven't had this happen anywhere else. I won't go back.

Fast friendly and healthy. Great chinese restaurant to try takeout or eat in. You can get traditional chinese or healthy twist such as gluten free.

This Chinese restaurant is really great! Not only is the food delicious, but every dish is full of authentic delicacies, fragrant and delicious. Plus, they have just the right amount of spiciness to keep you craving for more. The service attitude was also very good, and the waiters were friendly and enthusiastic, which made my dining experience even more perfect. The atmosphere of the entire restaurant is also very comfortable, allowing me to relax and enjoy the food. Overall, this Chinese restaurant is one of my favorites and one I will visit often! Highly recommended to friends who love Chinese food, you will definitely not be disappointed!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious with high-quality meat and ingredients. The staff is super friendly and the service is great. I decided to celebrate Lunar New Year for the first time. I asked Danny if they could cater the party of 50 people. He made excellent recommendations for the food as I was not sure what Chinese New Year dishes to serve. We went with steamed fish, lions head meatballs, and chow mein. All three dishes were a huge hit!! I received tons of compliments on the steamed fish, which I felt might be risky to serve to a crowd of non-Asian peeps. I've never had lions head meatballs before but I'll be looking for them now every New Years. Lol. The chef went out of his way to prepare the chow mein with extra long noodles because I mentioned I wanted to serve "longevity "noodles. I really appreciated that thoughtfulness. Chens Panda prepared the perfect amount of food for the party. Everyone had plenty to eat and I was not left with a whole bunch leftover. I was glad to see there were a few pieces of fish and a few meatballs left so I knew people were not scraping for more food and I didn't have waste. The restaurant itself is cozy and clean. I always enjoy a dinner out at this restaurant. Highly recommend for tasty, quality Chinese food.

Love this little restaurant! It is very small which is part of its charm. Family owned, and the family members are gracious, warm and attentive. The father is the chef with a twinkle in his eyes and rather shy. Food is excellent. Not greasy, very fresh, very tasty, Served hot. The won ton soup is delicious. The lettuce wrapped chicken yummy. So far everthing we have ordered there is very tasty. Good variety and they will accommodate special requests. Very service and customer focused. The son greets people as they enter and rotates around to each table chatting with his guests. Many regulars. The place is spotless and one of the sisters works diligently clearing tables, wiping down tables and serving food. The mother has a wonderful warm smile when she comes out to thank you for coming. Going to this little gem is like the old days where personalized customer service had meaning, and fresh consistently good food was the norm. As you leave, members of the family gratefully say goodbye and thank you for coming. And as the doors close behind you, there is a smile on your face and a sense of happiness, warmth and contentment. Very rare and special experience.Dietary restrictions: Menu has wide selection and they are flexibleParking: The restaurant is tucked away in a corner. There are some spots in front and ample parking in surrounding lotWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Me and my man were extremely disappointed and let down as we were expecting authentic chinese food here from the atmosphere but ended up with honestly one of the worst chinese foods we've ever had, it was bland and tasted like one of those premade frozen chicken stir fry stuff you would get from walmart but the staff were beyond friendly so we asked for a refund... but yea I would not call this chinese food even panda express is 10 times better
